Put it in white with OG Red stars and bears and towers, and it would be the tits. What we see now is...blue.
WTF? Is SRFC management taking advice from the SJ front office? Didn't they pull the same crap a couple of years ago? Where the hell did the blue come from? I'm balanced enough to realize that It's not my team or my money on the line, but if this is the kind of decision that Nagle and MoneyBags is gonna make, I am not "all in.".......... My advice is spend less on "hip" kit, and spend more on finding an offense. /rantoff
The blue came from the Sacramento city flag, which looks like this. 2 different blues on the kit, from the 2 blues in the flag. Of course, I am a fan of neither the city flag nor the kit...
Thanks joelrip. Re-reading my post now, I think my initial reaction was a little “over the top.” Must have been having a bad day. P.S. - I still don’t like the kit.
And, of course, the wife comes back from halftime wearing the new kit...... Mrs. Ff223 - "look what i found at the team booth. what do you think, isn't it awesome?! Me - "Looks great, honey!" FML
Funny you post this. As much as I dislike the new kit, there was an awful lot of the "target demographic" wearing the new jersey tonight. Kudos to the club. Plus, as much as I dislike the blue jersey, I will be wearing this cap in the near future...
The design-a-can contest for SRFC and New Glory brewery returns for 2020. I loved last year's design and look forward to my first can of Ubadhank come March! https://www.sacrepublicfc.com/new-glory
So it's always seemed like the star and bear were not quite balanced. When the Republic moves to MLS, will the put the bear up and the star down? Guessing they were planning that from the beginning.
