That ship has sailed. His career is already ruined and his formative years are long gone.

I mean, while I'm kinda down on him it's not impossible to turn around your career at 21. Agreed he's missed out on a lot of development though.

Real problem with Lee SW is that he has no meaningful skill. Compare this guy to someone like Ritsu Doan. It's like night and day :

Lee also made no meaningful effort to improve his strength. Does he ever work out?

Oh come on. If the dude is talented as intended he needn't to bulk up but he should use his skills to turn into the asian Modric or some sort of.
Anyway he's in a team where there's no space for a player like him.
I was pretty impressed that he even played against Perugia.
Tomorrow night's the 2nd leg of the semifinals. They need to win since with a draw it will be game over.

isn't it 0-0 on agg? is there a weird rule for tie-breaker?

Pescara ended the season 4th while Hellas 5th then in case of a tie Pescara should have won.
Anyway Hellas in the final vs Cittadella. First leg away, 2nd home.

Welcome back to Serie A, if he will stay.

Lee cheering with the team in front of camera. It seems he's enjoying to stay.

Anyway Matos was a ghost, Lee, with all his weaknesses, is better than this brazilian nothingness and could have play this game.

I guess warming the bench in Serie A is better than warming the bench in Serie B.

you are way too harsh on Lee SW. he didn't warm the bench that often this season. granted.. his mins dropped under the new coach. could change.. or could get uglier. you never know what will happen next season. im going to be on the optimistic side since i rate the kid

Didn't start a single match in the playoffs + you can be assured that Hellas Verona will be reinforcing their squads from top clubs' youth players on loan. 1 goal and 2 assists is not a stellar record in Serie B...

not like his team has players full of good stats in Serie B. he is one of the players Verona own & again, who knows? proper full pre-season without international interruption (kid dealt w/ WC, Asian Games, Asian Cup) will help him next season. if he can convince one manager to change his mind to use him as starter (he shows flashes of brilliance this season), it is possible he can do that again.

Good feeling to have a player play in the Italian top flight. Hopefully we see better performances from LSW. Long off season ahead of him to get stronger.

Yeah maybe instead of 1 goal 2 assists he can get 2 goals 2 assists next season.

LSW has NO TALENT for anything. His skill level is 0.

In my opinion it is way too early to say he has "no talent". He had a few really good performances this season and even got a shot on target that his teammate blocked with his feet (these things are not accounted for in the number of goals and assists). It is unfair to judge the quality of a player just on those two things. Players like Lucas Vazquez made 31 appearances for Real Madrid in La Liga and only made 1 goal and 3 assists in it while Lee Seung Woo got 1 goal and 2 assists (Lee Seung Woo made 23 appearances in Serie B) . Since Lucas Vazquez got 8 more appearances in the league but only the same amount of goal and just 1 more assist in La Liga (playing with superstar level players and not the poor players Lee Seung Woo play with), does that make Lucas Vazquez have "no talent"?

We can't judge a player like LSW off the amount of goals and assists he generates.
He's good at linking up play from attack and creating chances through the middle. He has more than 2 assist if you count assists like they do in hockey. (Deflected shot/rebound to teammates, secondary assists).
Just hit the gym and get stronger. That's the only thing he needs to work on. Decision making isn't the best either but stuff like that can get better through experience.

He needs to dramatically improve one skill this summer. Shooting. If he can become a decent finisher, he can be our Lorenzo Insigne. They have very similar play styles. Not just being small, but in build, strong in short pass build up play, fast over 5 yards but not great top speed etc. Takes time. Took insigne 3 full seasons in Serie A before becoming a consistent mid-teen goal scorer per season. I would take that.

Poor guy has barely enough strength to hit a ball beyond five feet. I have no clue why people waste their time talking about this kid.
