Are you seriously dumbing down the translation to whitewash/excuse this? You and I both know what “give hand” means in Arabic, it means beating and striking. Are you really denying that the post is praising the hooligan beating the Iranian players and journalists?
How is this even comparable to the situation in Iraq? There is no pitch invading or physical assault on the Iraqi players in your video. You’re just making excuses for your fans instead of just admitting that you have a problem with hooligans and Iraq is not safe for visiting teams until that problem is solved.
As I said, punish the fans and club. Their behavior was disgusting. However it's going way too far to say that Iraq isn't safe for visitors. Jordan, Kenya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Palestine went to Iraq and there were no problems at all. Everything went smoothly so we proved that we are able to host games.
What about eliminating the group stage to add more teams from smaller countries? First round - 64 teams Second round - 32 teams Third round - 16 teams Quarter-finals - 8 teams Semi-finals - 4 teams Final - 2 temas CONCACAF CL doesn't have a group stage anymore. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_CONCACAF_Champions_League#Bracket
The winner of each group (5 teams) and top 3 best second-placed teams will qualify for the round of 16?
Now AFC need to expand popularity of AFC Cup as well. What on earth this competition only for football developing countries. Open it to all Asian clubs like Europa League & Sudamericana.
AFC are run by dumb elitists who prefer to see a select group of countries succeed while trampling over the rest. They keep persisting with the one-legged play-offs in the Champions League qualifiers out of fear of seeing a side from an unfancied nation knocking out one of the big boys before the group stages. For them, the AFC Cup is just a second rate competition to keep the peasants distracted.
Kashima Antlers were the defending champions but were eliminated by Guangzhou Evergrande in the quarter-finals. The winners of the competition, Al-Hilal qualified for the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar after beating Urawa Red Diamonds in the final.
