    The commentators mentioned he went straight down the tunnel, which would indicate he's suffered from some kind of injury...

    Lindelof back on the bench with an ice-pack on his thigh.

    Rashford shouldn't play again this season. He's been abysmal for a month. He's done absolutely nothing to deserve minutes.

    Back to back chances missed for Chong and now Pogs.

    Chong with a decent chance. He took it pretty well, but the angle was just too tight.

    Then Pogba off the bar.

    The fact that we don't have anyone else available is probably why he keeps on playing when he simply shouldn't. Even Greenwood who should have taken part today is injured. Not as if there is much of a choice in the matter...

    8 minutes of stoppage time.

    That's not very much all things considered.

    At this point, grab any kid from the reserves. I don't care. Just not Rashford. There's no point in rewarding this dross.

    I don't think him playing when he's hurt is rewarding him in any way.

    Usually at the end of shit seasons like this, hopes are lifted by thoughts of a new manager coming in and changing they way things are done.

    One has to wonder why Phil Jones is clapping. I wonder if these chumps realize how much the fans absolutely detest them.

    Fin.

    Fitting way for our top four challenge to end really.

    We have issues in all areas of the pitch;

    - gk, defence, midfield, attack

    Plus issues in all areas of the club;

    - squad, recruitment, management, fitness, player contracts etc. etc.

    Said as much in the OTT thread, we must look into a solid 3-4yr plan where every decision that is made in terms of our personnel is geared towards making the team solid and competitive at the highest level by then.
    Can't hope for any quick fixes as we're just nowhere near the level of the best teams in the league at the moment. Pool and what they've done since Klopp arrived, is really the example to follow at the moment: bring in a DoF as soon as possible (definitely by the end of the summer at the latest), clear out as much of the deadwood in the next 2-3 windows max, bring on progressively the best youngsters from the Academy.
    It also means possibly selling some of our so called top players and earners and replace those guys with equal quality. And of course add more quality on top of it. That is the way back for us now: thinking we can do it in one or 2 seasons is just a pipe dream, as we've fallen too far behind at this point,

    You have invented this injury nonsense. Nobody is saying hes injured. He's not limping, no reports say he's injured, and Ole hasn't mentioned him carrying a knock. You're trying to explain away is form without using the most obvious reason...he's not playing well because he's not that good of a player (yet).
