No idea how Laca hasn't scored at least twice in this half.

    67' still 2-1

Would much prefer a larger lead heading to Valencia.

I missed the first 20 mins of 2T. What happened? Looked like we were ceding them possession and letting them be in our half a lot.

Edit: And while I'm now watching again, I notice Ozil running the ball all the way back from their 35 yard line to give it to Cech. :(

    This, this, and THIS!

Meanwhile Mkhi comes in for Ozil at 75'

Puzzling flick by Kola in the box, unless he was intentionally trying to kick it into the defenders arm for a PK??

The opposite of that. They couldn't get out of their own half.

They look very threatening. Only 10 mins left for a 3rd goal. COME ON!!!

83' Monreal on for Kos. Hmm. It's not like a rotational subsitution. Makes me think Kos is suffering from a knock or two. Earlier today he rolled his ankle a bit. And in general he looks like a walking wounded these days.

He also yanked his hamstring early in the second half.

Seriously? That could be a BIG blow to our run-in if we lose him. Pray!

There we go. A hint of finesse from Kola and a great finish by Auba.

3-1!!! Auba gets on the end of a fairly messy build up. But we'll take it! HELL YES!

At the end it was a nice cross by Kola and tricky volley by Auba. PHEW!

FT. 3-1 is a pretty good first leg result. Better than most predicted. And @GunnerJacket continues his run!!

Great finish, torreira pulled down which distracted Valencia

Xg is not the only way to view a game

If you watched we dominated for large portions but were susceptible on the counter (as per last 15 years)

Very lucky that we didn't give up more than one in the first 15 minutes. But to my eye, I thought we did pretty well after our equalizer. Does Caley break down xG by half?

He’s done it before, but probably wouldn’t do it for this match.

Scott Willis has rolling xG, but it’s a hobby for him and he might have made it for patreon subscribers only.
