His team is horrible but so is the other team. 2-2 crazy match between two teams that do not want to be relegated lol.
Man oh man Cucho had the perfect pass to set up a teammate for the potential game winning goal and the guy missed it!
3-3 Final It was game of some highs and lows.for Cucho and his team. The second half was much better than the first. He really showed a lot of versatility out there. Played on the right wing in the first half and drifted to the left wing during the second half. Was very dangerous on many attacks, forced corners due to his hustle and gritty physical plays. Unfortunate not to score a goal but one of his headers did lead to the third. Speaking of headers he could be pound-for-pound one of the best heading players we have in the pool. The guy can really jump and get good power and accuracy for his size. Sucks he did not get a goal or an official assist. His play deserved much more than what the stats show.
Good description of why I'm so high on him and why I think he has such a good chance to be successful, he is dangerous in every area and can play multiple positions in multiple formations across the attacking positions. Think really he will eventually settle as a false 9 or as a free roll beside a true 9 able to drift into different areas and play off another forward. Cucho and Duvan both are good for all types of games, when we'd have to defend and when have lots of the ball, playing alone as a 9 or playing in tandem, the versatility they both have creates a lot of combinations and continuity in a team, would like to see us using these players more and more who have a well rounded game and do lots of the little things outside of simply scoring goals.
Hahaa that was mean but i see your point...he have potential without doubt but we cant be "excited" every good movement that is dangerous ......my biggest fear is that he can be a bojan, gio dos santos ....for example indeed he have the technique of heading....but for to be the pne of the best headers of the pool have to be more proof than particular plays Hope he gets the permission for world cup and regarding his versatilty...i think this rotation will happen for the next two seasons......i think where he have best olaued without doubt is as 9 like happened in second division.....because the difficulties of huesca he have had to made sacrifies....but more than versatilty the fact that he doesnt seem limited in other positions is because his good technique....Good players in all the field can show their skills....but there is a certain position that people can take more advantage of.
At the moment I do not see him not scoring as an issue. His game and skill set can be viewed like Cuadrado in a way. No one ever says damn Cuadrado has not scored in a while or he did not score against the second worst team in the league. No, we see his skill and his talents and know it can be properly used to help us win. If he is on his game he will have an impact in many ways.
Yes this is true. Rueda seems to be the only guy to know how to use his strengths though. Cucho seems to be dangerous under any manager.
i think that all we agree that is normal that he isnt scoring by his age and that isnt an issue..........but in the otherside i dont get excited because particular plays....im happy that he is showing potential...and that his technique is pretty decent. But i think that he already found a position since last year and hope he can have more impact and time on it.....that will happen in a better team
Being excited about a young talent that has a certain skill set is not a bad thing. Especially since he would be a breath of fresh air on the Sub 20 squad that really needed a tough as nails player like him both mentally and physically. I can see why people are hesitant to be excited about him at the Senior level. But so far so good on that front too scoring a couple of goals in his debut and showing some good chemistry with Cuadrado Have to wait and see if things continue to progress and if he gets consistent.
im not saying that im not excited about him. but i think is excessive beign excited of particular plays.......for all players have 17 or 35. but thats on my own...... for example i need more proof that he is one of our headers of our pool of players....yeah he have potencial to be the best
I have seen him head the ball a lot this year. For his size he does a really good job of putting shots on target. I am not saying he is Duvan or Mina or Falcao but it is all relative. Hence, I said pound-for-pound which is a boxing term used for different weight classes.
How many managers has he had? Falcao is only one inch taller and looks a little more slender, so probably in the same weight class. I think Falcao is head and shoulders the best header of the light welterweight class...
I'm so excited about Cucho that I might not just name my next kid after him, but actually let him impregnate my wife. What an honor that would be
Between club and country a few managers I imagine and he has looked dangerous for all of them. Yes Falcao is a great header of the ball. No one denies that.
with leo franco that was a disaster he was the first change.......i think marlos more thnan reuda was also a confidencie issue..with pekerman wasnt bad always.........and with rueda at the end also sucks
When pertaining to Marlos i was referring only to club not Pekerman. As for sucking, I don't think he sucked. Maybe had a drop off in play but not sucked. That probably had more to do with players leaving and lineup changes and hard to keep at that high level he started with.
