He made a few mistakes last week and this week. One in the midweek too that was not taken advantage of but overall he was solid against BvB in Champions. To say he is the next Amaranto Perea is a bit premature. Just needs to work on some things as many players his age needs to work on. Definitely one of our best CBs if not the best one in form at the moment.
I think everyone knows how good he is and of his unlimited potential, but when he makes a mistake they usually cost games. He needs to relax and slow the game down a bit, always seems to be on 4th gear, that only comes with experience.
Damn Davinson had good coverage on Firmino but got out of position giving him the space needed to score https://streamja.com/d72A
I see what you’re saying but he shouldn’t have lost sight of firmino before that deep cross. Especially when there was only one other Liverpool player in the box (3 spur defenders vs 2 pool players closest to the ball).
Look on the bright side, he is our only healthy CB playing at a top level. Less chance of injury the better.
So it was basically the best I could hope for in the case of Davinson. Spurs go through to the Semis but gave up a lot of goals so Poche may be tempted to change things against Ajax in the back. Speaking of Ajax it is going to be very interesting if he does start against his old team. He knows some of those players very, very well.
Sometimes we just have to give credit to the other team's execution of a cross and shot on goal instead of trying to figure out who is to blame.
Davinson starting against his former team today. It looks like an interesting back three type of formation with him towards the right according to google.
Here is my Faryd moment. Spurs look so anemic on offense without Son and Kane. I feel for Davinson and Spurs fans because things could have been different with those guys. Credit to Ajax though, they keep on finding ways to win on the road .
Starting again today. I will say what I usually say.... ... does this mean he will not start in Holland on Wednesday? We shall see. Lerma is starting too. Which makes me wonder, when was the last time two Colombians started and played against each other in the Premiere League??? Anyone can tell me without looking it up? Maybe when Ospina played against Davinson?
