Defense was awesome today. Thanks Mustafi for sitting on the bench

    Great performance

Leno was great today. MOTM imo

Emery finally get our best attackers on the pitch after not knowing how for six months.

AMN was great going forward to start and beastly defending the second half.

The Kos come back this season is incredible and under-appreciated.

Played a 3-5-2 and I believe this was the first game that he started both Ozil and Ramsey in the midfield, with Ramsey as the 8 sitting beside Xhaka. Echo's of Arsene's preferred midfield last season.

    Yes
    Mustafi was on bench
    Subs were quite good
    Niles on wing
    Ramsey tracked like a beast

I just rewatched the final moments. Here's 2 more data points to make us smile a bit more:

    * We have a 9 game winning streak at home, going back to Nov.11

    * We just gave OGS his first defeat in the EPL

538's (terrible) rankings have us at 53% to make top 4.

I imagine that percentage would be higher if they didn't overrate Chelsea.

Great result, very lucky we didn’t concede as lukaku and rashford missed easy ish chances in the box

This formation works vs the better sides as 3 cbs gives the keeper an option and we don’t rely on our cms as much to create which causes us to concede on counters

It allows us to play our best forwards too as @DaPrince84 said

As ecstatic I am about the win, Lukaku tore our backs up. Glad he had his finishing touches off.

I'd also add the DDG having an "off" day in goal was also a huge help. It seems as though he usually has some of his best games against us...very thankful yesterday wasn't one of those.

Don't know if he had an off "day" or just an off "moment". But a huge moment at that. And I saw he got pilloried by Gary Neville on Sky.
