Exactly. Plus FIFA doesn't like multiple stadiums in the same city. That's why Moscow only had 2. Same as England would only have 2 in London. We couldn't use Old Trafford and the Etihad for example.
I think the greater difficulty lies in including Northern Ireland, given that Windsor Park has a capacity of 18,000 and they don't have an obvious need for a stadium over twice the size.

It does seem a little bit odd to me that France have five players in all including three from the squad that failed to qualify for the under-17 Euros, while England have two players in all and not a single one from the squad that lost the semi-final on penalties. Perhaps France's talent is all concentrated in a handful of players, but perhaps there's a bit of an inferiority complex going on here too?
It seems like such a random process. Carvalho + Niall Brookwell were in the 20 players from English clubs and they're 2002s but it seems all the rest pretty much were 2001s. Then you've got that Sheff Wednesday lad in there, just like Kun Temenuzkhov was in last year. They love to include a player from a small country at a club you wouldn't expect to find them. It's so often equated to that player being great.

Just heard on the radio that the deal to sell Wembley has fallen through with Khan withdrawing his offer. I guess this will have a mixed reaction but I’m not really surprised as the longer this rumbled on it seemed more opposed the deal. I think a stumbling block was that no one really trusts the FA that all the funds raised would go back into grassroots football.

It's a very different situation in France than in the UK. The controversy there is that the French constitution doesn't allow any kind of discrimination on the basis of race or ethnicity. It's quite clear on that. Positive discrimination is equally frowned upon. In the UK it's quite normal to follow the US model of introducing unofficial quotas similar to a Rooney rule when a group is under or over represented. Of course, it should always reflect broader demographics. We can't say for example, that 50% of UK coaches should be black if they only account for 20% of the population. My issue is that the UK model is too subjective. To some people, talking about a lack of white players is racist but talking about a lack of black coaches isn't. Or vice versa. It becomes counter productive. Therefore, we either take race out of the equation and ban all forms of discrimination or quotas - the colour blind approach. The alternative is to take action when a certain group is under or over represented with the aim being to reflect the broader demographics of the nation.
For the record, I don't think that either the under representation of white academy players or black managers are motivated by racism. More just a case of decision makers taking the easier option.
Mindy Kalings brother wrote a book on this subject. He pretended to be black to get into medical school, successfuly. I've not read the book but what a champ, very funny.

Odd move, I wonder if there is something more to this than simply ending their International careers? Thought Hummels was immense for Bayern against Liverpool the other week so it’s a bold move to leave him out imo.
I can understand them wanting to have a clean slate and blood a younger generation, but publicly ending their international careers for them seems short-sighted and somewhat on the arrogant side. Germany don't seem to me to be so brilliant that they can be confident of never needing them again.
Beckham was effectively retired by McLaren in 2006, only to come back and make 20 more appearances. These things aren't always as final as they're presented. That said, I don't think it's a terrible idea. They've kept a few experienced heads in Neuer, Kroos, and Reus (if he can stay fit), and they have good, young players in these guys' positions. The only one that looks a little unwarranted to me is Hummels, but they have Süle, Kehrer, and Tah, so I don't think they'll struggle. Rüdiger too, if you're a fan, but I'm not.
