I didn't know how unlikely that was. It was his second career goal. I typed it in the text of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominic_Iorfa_(footballer,_born_1995) and the box on the right and statistics in the main part need to be updated.
I'd take mid table mediocrity in the Championship for years to come given the choice. It's so stressful loving a team that skirts with relegation all season. I'd probably be less grey if we had just settled in League One.
5-5-1 in our last 11... I know, I know there are 3 cup matches in that list as well and we went 1-1-1.
You'll move up 3 spots with a win and 1 with a draw. Sheffield United will move to automatic promotion in second with a win.
last day of my vacation, and it's back to work tomorrow. and it's on espn+. really looking forward to this one.
first half was pretty poor, to be fair. second half was better; united with sustained pressure early on, but Wednesday coming into it more in the last 25 minutes. Hutch ran onto a perfectly weighted long cross at around 65', but put it right into the keeper's gut. anywhere else and it's 1-0 Wednesday. The ball in from Aarons was brilliant.
Yeah, I tend to agree that anything less than a win at home is a disappointment. But the reality is that United is better than Wednesday right now. It shows in the table and - if we're honest - it showed today on the pitch. Wednesday weren't poor, and they deserved the point … but Hutch's chance aside, they created nothing. It's a good point earned, even if it's not all that satisfying.
@EvanJ - yeah... i agree. but a point is all i got. @pookspur you've summed it correctly. Like I said, I'm happy with that point.
