He impressively made nine U17 appearances in 2017-2018 despite his U15 registration. Now he's registered with the U17s. Here's a little more information on him (rough translation):

Accepted another callup to US U17s, for a tournament in Mexico City against Mexico no less. Considering Mexico's squad includes another Mexican-American attacker who appears mildly less productive, Arce may have been wanted by Mexico but appears to have chosen the US.

Fresh off the camp in Mexico, he accepts another US U17 callup to a camp in England.

 

Scored a "left footer that shook the nets" for Morelia. He's up to 7 goals on the season, and that's in only about 600 minutes presumably because he's been away with US youth teams often. Has to be one of the best goal/minute ratios (let alone goal tallies) in U17 Liga MX.

A few weeks ago he scored his first goal of the Clausura, against Atlas. I can't find video for it.

Not a particularly high bar, but at the moment, Arce might be the top USYNT prospect based in Mexico. Hard to argue against his goals total. He and Monterrey winger Jacobo Reyes might be #1 and #2 in whichever order. León left back Edwin Lara would be #3. América left back Ralph Orquin is #4, in my possibly ill-informed opinion. Xolos attacking mid Emmanuel Haro, who recently flipped from El Tri and was in the apparent first-choice US U18 lineup at their recent camp, might be #5. Then after that, some fringe names like Atlas right back Michael Barragan and Pachuca mid Edwin Villarreal (though I've seen no official confirmation of the latter).
