hehe He is ethnically half croatian half serbian but even without him with balic as an all time great and then duvnjak, cindric, croatia got regularly some of the best handball players in the world
Don't blame it on the sunshine, don't blame it on the moonlight, don't blame it on the good times, blame it on the BOOGIE!
Am I just biased or does Anthony Davis asking to be traded a week before the deadline reek of desperation from Rich Paul/Klutch/Lebron? Presumably the Lakers have been trying to get a deal done with NOLA for months on the low, and now they're trying to pull a hail mary.
Trade our young developing players for AD? F*&ck yeah! I just do not see it happening. It is more beneficial for NO to just wait it out.
Whoa whoa whoa Kristaps, Tim Hardaway Jr and Courtney Lee To Dallas for: DeAndre, Wes Matthews and Dennis Smith Jr. Yall done gave Rick Carlisle some weapons. Im having flashbacks of the two man game between Dirk and Terry that beat Lebron.
Philly played kneod the best games u have seen anyone play against Golden State. Joel continues to dominate. Is there a big man playing better than him Right now? Only AD and he's hurt.
Eastern Conference powerhouses gearing up. Toronto got Marc Gasol, Milwaukee got Mirotic, and Philadelphia got Harris. Meanwhile... Lakers are left in tatters, with their big "Operation Brow" gambit failed, their record at .500, their reputation damaged, and the lockerroom chemistry destroyed with everyone fully aware they are on the trading block. This was disastrous. This whole thing was a mistake, signing LeBron, we as an organization were woefully unprepared for this.
That was an overreaction but I feel like the way that whole situation went in terms of trying to trade for AD with increasingly more desperate offers without knowing if the Pelicans were ever even interested and then jettisoning some of our young guys for short-term mediocre veterans felt very desperate and mismanaged. Made me wonder if this organization is ready to play with the big boys so to speak. The whole thing was a circus.
We had to go for it. AD, LeBron, the agent, the City of LA, was all pushing for Magic to create magic and sign a star player that the org does not really have to. It certainly hits us in the gut and taken a beating on our ego, but the Pelicans did not really liked what we offered them and it was in their best interest to wait it out for the summer.
So Lakers will enter ASG with a losing record. What were the betting odds at the start of the season for LA to miss the playoffs?
If you told oddsmakers that LeBron was going to miss 1/3 of the team's games due to injury? VERY HIGH.
Especially being in the Western Conference, I still thought the playoffs were possible but would not bet on it.
That's the key! Everyone said this young core was good enough to keep them in the hunt without LBJ... How wrong are they now. Kuzma Ingram Lonzo Hart... All rotten.
I haven't looked up the story yet, but saw Paul Pierce talking about AD. He said AD callled out his teammates?
Maybe you meant ADs comments after the home loss to the Magic? Where he said nobody looked liked they really wanted to play?
also hearing the NBA threatened the Pelicans with big fines if they didn't play AD. I don't get that. Can they not plan for future?
The precedence for the fining goes back to Pop resting un-injured players on the nights of national games. TNT and ESPN were getting fed up with them doing that on purpose. This is the first time I can remember them trying to fine a team because the player wanted out.
