Layún played the entire game today in Villarreal's 2-2 tie vs. Real Madrid. Not bad considering RM is currently in 4th place, and Villarreal is the 4th worse team in La Liga.

    Skysports player ratings for Villarreal: Asenjo (6), Layún (6), González (5), Ruiz (6), Costa (5), Santiago (6) Cáseres (6), Fuego (5), Chukwueze (7), Fornals (7), Cazorla (9), Moreno (6)

Anybody else think this guy's Euro days are numbered? Although he starts occasionally, he's frequently not called up like this past weekend. He committed a foolish penalty the last time he played.

All in all he's overachieved IMO, no matter what his future holds.
