Back in day, someone could pay money to gain features, including an ad-free experience. But even still, I'm surprised that modern browsers have issues. I would think that pop-ups wouldn't be a thing.
I've had the Brave browser on my computer for some time but didn't realize there was an iOS version. Started using that several days ago for BigSoccer on my phone and haven't had this issue since. (Just for fun, I tried surfing BS on Safari as well and immediately got hit with the popup ads.) Highly recommend the Brave browser for its security and ad-blocking features. I've also found it to be really fast.
After a month and a half of no issues I started seeing these ads on my iPad again tonight. Even after a cache clear.
Yeah, I hit a real sketchy popup on my iPhone when I clicked on a BigSoccer link in a facebook post a couple of days ago. Not cool.
I cannot go on bigsoccer.com on my iphone SE due to the happy.goodluckspace.com pop up which comes up every time. It's now useless to try. Pop-up blocker is on, I've cleared website history and data, and I have the latest Safari and iphone updates.
