I think Graham is despicable, but...this is an awfully...non-intersectional...way of criticizing the guy. Let's see how long it takes for this to get edited or the OP to get blasted.
There is the most likely possibility is that the reason Graham is acting like a dirtbag is not because he is being threatened but because he is a dirtbag.
I'm not. I'm just waiting for the condemnation that would surely otherwise pour down. Plus, there's absolutely zero reason to associate Graham's terribleness on policy with his sexual orientation, presumed or otherwise. Who ********ing cares who he like to ********? He's a terrible person. End. Of.
I don't think his sexuality matters unless he's being blackmailed over it. Which we'll most likely never know unless his Grindr account gets hacked.
I put it in the methinks the man doth protest too much. Using religion (and politics) has been a ploy by many to hide something about them they don’t want known. When the sexuality is admitted and acknowledged, the policy aspect can alter.
Interesting. Well, I think Graham is a ********ing piece of shit, no matter who he ********s. Seems a bit rich for someone to start a thread intimating that he's a piece of shit because he's ambiguous in his sexual preferences rather than, ya know, the fact that he loves to bomb shit. It also seems wildly hypocritical, but whatever.
Bell Boy, I got to get running now Bell Boy, keep my lip buttoned down Bell Boy, carry this baggage out Bell Boy, always running at someone's pleading heel You know how I feel Always running at someone's heel
This. The same way we know that Trump is an awful human being and we expect some sort of odd/unaccepted sexual taste, but some of his behavior could be easily explained if someone was blackmailing him over it. Graham is a horrible person, now more noticeable since McCain is not there to reign on his worst impulses (see poll option), but besides him likely being a closeted gay, which for most of his career has been irrelevant, his late behavior is so pro-Trump that you have to wonder if the Trumpers have something on him.
Of course they do. It's called South Carolina voters, especially the republican ones. I believe he is only somewhat popular there and he's up for re-election in 2020.
The New York Times had an article explaining Graham's behavior. Basically, he was a McCain acolyte. Then McCain's brand went in the toilet (cancer, dying) so now Graham, rather than opportunistically advancing his career by toadying to a respected senior senator, is attempting to advance his career by playing to the ultra-loyal base of the highest-placed Republican in the land. I have to admit: I find that to be a plausible explanation.
When it comes to radical Islam, a border wall is our last line of defense — not our first. Our first line of defense is a forward deployed presence working with partners to disrupt enemy operations directed at our allies and homeland.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) December 27, 2018
Why would a muslim terrorist try to sneak in illegally via the border with Mexico? Overstaying a visa is much easier.
