Fantastic pass from Fabian to find Hazard in the final third in on goal and whose first touch is not great.

18: Fabian gets into a counterattack. Cuts into the middle across midfield, great rolling 30' pass to Hazard, who waits a little to long to shoot and has it blocked for a corner. Fabian's best play of the game so far.

20: Ball slipped through to Reus from Alcacer behind the defense, close range shot blocked by Sommer. Best opportunity for either side so far.

Fabian went from that good attacking move to getting worked over while trying to play out of the back, leading to Dortmund's best chance of the match.

21: Guerriero thinks his cross caught Beyer's hand and should have been a PK.

Seconds later, cutback by Reus to Alcacer "shot" well wide.

Delaney seems pretty one footed. He doesn't seem to be willing to turn both ways to see the whole field when he has it in the middle.

Guerriero and Sancho doing some flip-flopping sides, something I've been hoping to see from them. Leaves Fabian matched up with Sancho for the moment.

Dortmund are showing „Danke Kumpel“ on their shirts. Today is the historic end of black coal mining in Germany, the last mine in Bottrop in the Ruhr area close to Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen shut down. Kumpel is buddy and miner in (Ruhr area-) German.

High quality game on both sides of the ball. Very tactical match. One break will be enough.

30: BVB really dominating possession and shots. Promising Gladbach counter blown up by one mis-pass, leads to long-range Witsel shot on the other end, pretty easy Sommer save.

31: Fabian gets forward to make run behind the defense, pass would have had to be perfect and wasn't.

Alcacer off, seems like it will be Gotze for Alcacer.

Goatse is coming on for the injured Alcacer.

Feels like he has the potential to exploit some gaping holes in the Gladbach defense.

    Gotze is not a forward

    Paco is a Superb sub

Use Phillip and Reus at the forward position, and this team will be better.

40: Showtime dribbling for Sancho, lays off to an open Piszczek at the top corner of the box. Piszczek fails to do anything useful.

That's why Sancho starts. Fantastic goal.

Awful pass by #15 to Fabian launched the counter.

42: GOAL Sancho. Break comes up Fabian's wing while he is upfield, not at fault. Guerriero starts the counter to Reus up left wing, finds Gotze covered in the box, Gotze plays wider to Sancho, who creates half a step and beats the goalie to the far post from a sharp angle. One of his better goals.

Sancho is really, really good. Hard to believe he’s English. ;) :D

Well, there is a reason CP is planted on the bench and it ain't because he stinks. Sancho is out of his mind right now.

Kramer scores, but I think there's a good chance it gets overturned by VAR.

And it's not. That feels like a mistake to me.

I'd like to see if BMG could take a run at signing CP. Looks like they need some depth for the second half at winger. He's be a good complement to Hazard on the other wing.

Interesting decision to not take a look at that one. Ref trusted his VAR crew but man....I think I would have wiped that off the board for a handball.

Hand calls are always strange these days, but it doesn‘t get less intentional than „hitting your own hand when trying to score“.

CP needs to sit on the bench for 2 more years for Gladbach to be able to afford him.
