Do we really need to start this thread now??????

How about we wait until after the honeymoon period is over and we have an actual idea of who and what Berhalter is with the USMNT. Defeatism IS NOT SEXY.:( Sheesh.

I get your wanting to be the thread starter though.;)

Was it ever confirmed that Lopetegui actually contacted USSF? I saw his agent denied it.

when he gets fired, they should bring back Sarachan for another year as interim.

I can't believe we didn't qualify for the 2022 World Cup.

Onward to the 2030 cycle then. Michael Bradley is already thinking about his starting lineup.

Don't worry. He will be replaced by "el pelado" Matias Almeyda within one year. Mark my words.

Yes, it needs to be started. US Soccer is useless and has no idea what it's doing, so Defeatism is the only logical response from the fanbase that is still left to us.

Is he going to wear a suit or jeans and a shirt or a warm-up type thing? We need to put our best image out there! Bring on a Kardashian or Jenner to tighten up his face too.

Fire Berhlater, 3G was so mid to late 2000s; he needs to be renamed GGreGGG Berhalter for our 5G world if he wants to maintain his position..

Of course it is still better than JK, who was "just kidding" us all as he took our money to the bank.

My bar for this program is so low I don't expect anything from the MNT for this cycle. Your words may yet be prophetic.

    Hope springs eternal, I suppose...

The "Fire X" thread, that starts up as soon as the "Hire X" thread has come to fruition is the BS version of that slave, hunkered to the side of Caesar riding triumphant in his chariot, whispering "Memento Mori".

It's our antidote to Caligulian Hubris.

Gunnerfan, there is more than enough material in the "reference" for you to understand it. But, if you must "google", by all means do so.

No thanks, I guess I'll just live not knowing. Enjoy your obscure metaphors.
