Yesterday evening his coach was a guest in a tv soccer show. They also talked about Bjorn. Van der Brom said that because of the late joining his adaption procees wasnot ideal. Asked why he didnot play often Bjorn according to vdB still lacked the physical fitness required at AZ (Bjorn himself mentioned a few weeks ago he had underestimated the difference in what is demanded between ADO and AZ). Also asked about him being bought by AZ, van Hooijdonk wondered about Bjorn fitting in the AZ style, vdB said AZ very consciously bought him after looking good at him.
Another call-up for Norway. Friendlies against Slovenia and Cyprus. Hopefully, he can finally grab his 2nd goal. 9 caps already and only 1 goal.

Yeah, I'm 99% sure in the past week I saw someplace that he was injured... And he's been a regular on the bench if not starting and AZ can't score so it's the most likely scenario.
