Giovinco would definitely bench Dybala though.

And how would you know anyway? The last time you watched Juve Torricelli was still starting, lol.

So Ibrahimovic only went there because it's a retirement league right Falvo ;) lol

Around the same time I was there and my cousins weren't just Milan fans but national team fans too. That must mean everyone in Italy was a national team fan, right? :p

Giovinco was on the bench at Juve. Torricelli went from C2 to Juve because he impressed Trap in a preseason match. He won the lottery by jumping three leagues. I use to see him jogging at Cascine Park in Florence. He had to retire when his wife became ill and eventually passed away. I gave him my condolences when his wife died and felt bad for him. He was/is a very nice guy.

But he'll save Italy, lol. Good one.

That's nice and all but it's nothing but irrelevant historical data to cover up the fact that you haven't watched a Serie A game since Moses got the 10 commandments.

I never once posted he would save Italy! I thought along with every other loser, he should be given a chance and contribute somewhat but never thought he would be a savior. Far from it. Giovinco though, is done but anyway, why are arguing? Because I don't think Veratti is good enough for Juve or that he never played in Serie A or that I can care less about Ligue 1 or PSG?

Which other Serie A team has in the last 5-6 years, other than Juve?

We're not talking about 100 years ago, or when Elvis was rising to fame Falvo.

    Thanks for demonstrating...

    Because you like to :p {see above}

Ok so forget about the history, what exactly has PSG won in the last 5-6 years in Europe?

What Serie A team, excluding Juve, has done better in Europe since they're all better than PSG like you claim. You go first.

Are you kidding , Roma didn't have anything and last year alone beat Barca and Messi soundly and made a semifinal. PSG never made it that far.

You made this hair brained comment, then go off the rails when I pointed out that no other Serie A team has been as competitive as them in Europe, other than Juve, in the last 5-6 years all the while admitting you've never watched them, then insert irrelevant historical data that everyone who actually watches the game *today* knows. Well done.

And Roma did well in a one off season. Who do you think you're kidding?

PSG has made the quarters every year since 2013.

Tell us again how they don't play at the level of any Serie A team, lol. Then talk about Inter of the 60's

Therefore, by this reasoning PSG can't even qualify for a semifinal and they are this great success in Europe? They came in 5th or 6th place and that isn't great in anyone's book.

    Name one Serie A team that has been as competitive as them, aside from your Juve in recent years, without talking about what kind of pasta your cousins, and by extension all other Italians eat when Lazio and Roma lose and without mentioning Vierchowod. Can you do it? After all, PSG just doesn't and I quote;

"play at a level that the Serie A teams play at." - Falvo 2018

You didn't say Roma last year, you said Serie A teams.

What other team (again, beside Juve) has been as consistent as them in Europe in the last few years. Let's even narrow it down to 3 years?

Remember, no mention of Milan in 90's, Inter of 60's or Sampdoria in 1992. Can you do it?

Milan made the quarterfinal in 2012. Roma made the semifinal last year. Juve has been the only team Italy can boast. My point is though PSG can't even make the semis. I still don't know how they are supposed to be this great European team if they never won or ever even came close to winning anything. I don't know how Buffon is doing with them but I believe he was banned from playing in the CL games. It remains to be seen what his presence will bring in Europe or how far they will go with him.

OMG, you're right, PSG can't play at the level of any other Serie A team then, unless maybe Buffon plays and they manage to get Giovinco, I guess. I think you've convinced me now.

You really think they would be that great in the Serie A as they are in Ligue 1? I don't believe that at all. You must have a low perception of the Serie A. I believe its the best league in the world but to each his own. Have fun following them.

By the way, as a fellow Abruzzese, I do in fact want Marco Verratti to succeed, especially for Italy. He was born only 75 miles away from my moms hometown.

They're consistently more competitive in Europe than any other Serie A team but Juve. So their ligue 1 results are meaningless to me because the only common denominator to measure the teams by, is Europe. It's really not that complicated. They have good players Falvo, almost all of whom would start on every Serie A team right now. Almost all of their players are internationals too.

To suggest that they wouldn't challenge your precious Juve for the title just demonstrates how out of touch with the current game your are, my dear friend. Serie A seems to be on the rise right now, too early to tell, and like me you want to see it back to its glory days but it's time to leave the 90's behind.

Do you know who Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani are? No need to mention others if these are unfamiliar names to you.

I remember Edinson Cavani. He is a descendant of Maranello and discovered by Maurizo Zamparini and made his bones in Italy first with Palermo then with Napoli.

    Viva L'Italia!

I recognize the others. Not impressed with Neymar since he tried to take a pk away from Cavani. Anyway, if you like watching or following PSG , more power to you. I'll stick to watching the Serie A.

Sure he can play. I hear even Ibra will play for your Milan pretty soon as well. How about that for the level of the league?

From Serie A to Ligue 1 to EPL to MLS and back to Serie A!

Right back where it all started.

    All roads lead back to.....

Do you think mbappe plays better for PSG or Senegal?

    I don't know, you tell me. ;)

And while you're at it you never did explain how a player playing for "a great team will make him better" whilst at the same time stating that "it doesn't matter what team you play for!"

    Care to elaborate?

I hardly watch PSG but Mbappe won the WC for France.

Not sure if I understand your question. If you mean, a good or above average player , playing on a good or great team will make him a better player, I don't see how that is too difficult to understand. If you are a good player already and have the skill and determination to become better and if you are surrounded by other great players, of course you can become great. If you are crap player to begin with, then at that point, you probably won't be on a great team either way.

On the other hand, I've seen great players play with crap players and they've turned into crap players as well.

Who should be our starting striker? Belotti? Cutrone? Immobile has proved that he is not the right guy. Maybe move Insigne back there when Bernardeschi and Chiesa are both in form? I like Insigne there, but I'm hoping Belotti or Cutrone will step up and prove they can do well there. Maybe even Giovinco? Gabbiadini or Zaza still in contention?

Its too late for Giovinco as his time has passed. I really like Cutrone. I think he will be Italy's next great striker.

As soon as PSG swap out Verratti from their midfield they'll make the CL semi-finals.
