The idea that the US is using in attack is to stand around while the player that has the ball tries to find someone to pass to. If there are any runs, that happens rarely, they are in a straight line and could be covered by a decent U16 team. The soccer IQ being shown by the US is reflected in the numbers worn on the shirts.
Wow, this is the worst I’ve seen the team play in recent memory. That pass behind wood and his subsequent shot into the stands...
Quite honestly, I don't even care if the Mexican fans get all the tickets. Any gesture is better than nothing at this point. F uck USSF and all the people who run the sport in this country.
You should be focusing on the midfield's inability to make a dent on the game. As I said, you could put Maldini and Cannavaro in there as our center-backs and we still lose this game.
The Queen had her Annus Horribilis, and we were somewhat amused. Now we have had a bitterly long Annus Horribilis Terribilis, and the Queen is very much amused.
With Howard & Cameron gone, the last of our players with some brains are gone. Short of calling back Benny Feilhaber, no idea where the smarts are going to come. These kids are dumb. The ones doing ok in their clubs it's because someone else (a non-Yank) is doing the thinking.
hey man, i am all for trying every combination possible, it just wont matter, it wont help and it's not really a benefit. When your team can't trap, has no first touch, doesn't know how to move or pass or build a constructive attack, it's all well and good that you have speedy guys making life difficult, but the end result is probably the same.
