It's nice to know that our Toyota Park friends are able take a holiday away from Bridgeview and enjoy some summer fun. They really need to respect the property of others, no matter how enticing the food may be.
The bus ride would have only cost $1 but raccoon decides to save the buck. Beat heat by taking the @DCCirculator National Mall Route to get around to the monuments, memorials and museums. And, as a matter of fact, it does stop at the Natural History Museum! pic.twitter.com/IqjD8iLtYp— National Mall NPS (@NationalMallNPS) August 29, 2018
RFK is still standing so they may still be there. The only wildlife seen around Audi Field are woodchucks. On the other hand since the raccoons know how to ride the bus they should be at Audi soon.
Sure, RFK is still there, but who remains to feed the raccoons? By the way, what are the plans for RFK?
Right now there are no plans besides it is still a favored place for the El Salvador national team for friendlies.
Well, then maybe the raccoons can stay and live undisturbed, then. The Nationals The NFL football team and DC United all have new stadia, and this sits empty. Seems like a waste of land.
The US Department of the Interior actually owns the land and it literally will take an act of Congress for the land to be used for anything other than a stadium.
Yep, that was what I read this morning. There is a lease through 2038 on a structure that is crumbling and has no tenants (the raccoons are squatters, afterall) and virtually no use. Sounds like a good deal! Hey, maybe the Promise Keepers can hold another rally there. Perhaps Rev. Moon can do another mass marriage service. Sure, he's been dead for years, but the "moonies" probably don't know or care about that.
I dunno. I have questions. Are the raccoons really squatters or are they just an indigenous population repossessing what was already their own?
DAREDEVIL RACCOON: Incredible video shows a raccoon climbing roughly nine stories up a building off the Ocean City Boardwalk. It then appears to turn around and jump from the building, spiraling toward the ground. Then it gets up and walks away…MORE: https://t.co/a7MU4FnFDT pic.twitter.com/njbzrFcWTF— FOX 29 (@FOX29philly) September 21, 2018
