There are people who have supported this team for decades and this year has shown how much fans mean to MLS. You're short on the DC hatred, dial it up a notch will ya? After being the 2 best eastern conference teams through the first 3 years of the league, the 2 franchises have gotten out of rhythm and are kind of opposing sine waves. When we're good they suck, when we suck sometimes they're good. We get to meet in the playoffs for the first time since 1998. That Crew team was an offensive juggernaut. The league's leading scorer paired with McBride, Cunningham off the bench. Andy Williams running the show with Mais and Farrell chipping in. Then they ran in to DC in the conference final and fell short to a team loaded with top class attackers and national team defenders. It's great to face them in the playoffs and I can't wait for our rag tag group of misfits to derail the Rooney Express.
That said, we kind of suck. I'm hopeful we can play a decent game and squeak out a result. Giving up 2 goals to a lousy Minnesota team doesn't make me particularly confident. Ben Olsen, Wayne Rooney and the rest of those clowns can all get doused in Marco Etcheverry's used hair oil and slip-n-slide their way into an early off-season. Go CREW!

Michael Mejido was a rock god back in his time. I was talking to an OG old-school Crew fan yesterday about his April Fool's prank. Kids, you have absolutely zero idea what you missed. We absolutely did play them in the 1999 playoffs. We won game two 5-1(?) and then lost all that momentum in the house of horrors.
