    Great week for Mr. George.

In a 6 day span, Jahn Regensburg wins three games and George gets two goals and an assist over that span. Those nine points move the club into fifth place of the 2.Bundesliga.

Wonder how he would do in MLS. Bet he could be a top 20 scorer with the right team. Still young at 26.

worked for picault....and he's putting up better production than julian green in the same league....

what i wonder is if he could pull a bobby wood/morales type move if he stays consistent for the rest of the 2 bundesliga season or even if he could move up if his team finsihes highly...

he's really not that far away from the bundesliga if he's making team of the week in the second division and putting up goals/assists consistently.

Picault is only earning $150k a year. Of course, Jann is a regular starter for Regensburg while Fafa was a fringe player who had had a very public falling-out with his club and was in the last chance saloon, so Jann would definitely get a better offer from MLS than Fafa has. But would it be better than what he can get now?

BL2 salaries are nowhere near as good as the Championship, and Regensburg are a small club anyway (11k home attendance), so an MLS offer for a guy of his level ($350-450k) could even be a pay increase for him. But if Jann makes BL1, especially with a transfer, he'll get a good deal more than that, probably in the $600-750k range..

Long odds on that with this squad, unless he blows the doors off the rest of the way and gets a transfer.

he blundered and then got some redemption. Game ended in a 3-3 tie.

George missed a PK but then was involved in the tying 3rd goal.

so could have won the game 4-3 but helped to make it 3-3.

Bored “working” at home and saw the match was on Fox Soccer Match Plus decided to give the game a look...... our boy has has been very active in the first half that ended 1-1. He broke up a play in the middle of the pitch that two passes later resulted in his team’s goal and had two brilliant passes across the face of the goal that his teammate just couldn’t get a foot on. First time in 2-3 years I’ve seen more than a highlight of George. Looks to be a pretty good player at this level. Also no commentary on the telecast so you can actually watch the players and aren’t influenced by opinion.
