    Well deserved.
Mancini's been excellent in selection (imo)
Went with the technical midfielders over the runners.
Saw through Immobile pretty damn quick. and used a No9 with height.

Worry is that the midfield doesn't have much depth and Insigne still goes into hiding too much.

Let’s not forget we hit the bar twice, false 9 is an option we simply need a plan A with a proper striker

    Let’s win this group.
We can beat Portugal at home.

Great performance, good result considering our recent past!!!

One thing I have noticed is we did not put the ball in the box much on corners. I feel we need to do that more. Better chance of scoring. If we did that a lot more, we might have broken the deadlock a lot earlier.

Yeah but we need to hope Portugal fail to win at home against Poland. Even if they draw, we need to beat Portugal by 2 goals.

An in form Belloti will do wonders for this side. Too many midgets who give little though on the pitch.

Who gave the ball away on that big chance that Poland had in the second half?

Everyone saying we need a striker - I'll live and die with Insigne out there personally; best technical forward Italy has in its ranks by far.

Good performance from the boys. They deserved this win, and if they didn't get it that anxiety we see in the side would just continue to build.

The talent is there, the confidence is not. And we saw that today. Hopefully this result can give the boys a bit more confidence going forward.

When in doubt send the Udinese man out. Kevin Lasagna, I love you, great flick on

Yes false 9 can work but we need a striker option. The system can stay the same. We don’t need to change anything just need that body to either start or bring on.

I believe it was Verratti. It should be in the highlights.

Our next game should feature Chiellini, Bonucci and Biraghi as our attacking 3. :D

Thought so too, he nearly cost us couple of goals and was dispossessed at the end in front of goal but the ref called a foul. Cretino.

Night and day from when we played them at home. I would've liked to see Pellegrini as a sub for anyone in the midfield. Insigne hasn't had many good games as winger in a while. Much better as a SS.

Insigne brings nothing. Jorghino is overrated. Verratti has no vision. Florenzi is a track player. Too many average guys.

I like Chiesa. Not a bad front 3 actually.
Should we bring in a 9 and drop one of them? Possibly.

It’s hard to drop one of them when they’re all so good on the ball, against Portugal they can attack open space much more.
Unfortunately Portugal could beat Poland which would prevent us from topping the group.

If Berna could bury his chances, no need to change anything.

Portugal WILL beat Poland, I'm sure of that.

We don't need to top the group (even if we did, I don't think we can win the final), we just need to not relegate to league B, and qualify for Euro2020 AND QtarWC022. I will cry if we won't qualify for the next WC, we already didn't qualify in the last one.

There are players good on the ball but can’t do shit with it. Perhaps too much four square training where the purpose is to keep possession. That does little in attacking. The good ones find openings or make it. Bernardeschi & Chiesa are works in progress but they at least look to score or create a scoring opportunity. I have no idea what the ******** Insigne is looking to do out there.

There was definitely a lot of square meaningless passes. But, generally they did well to move the ball forward and create some sort of opportunity in the box fairly quickly. We definitely killed Poland in the possession game, was Poland really pressing that hard? Not sure...
