Apparently, Hapoel’s starting right back who graduated from their youth academy ahead of this season was born in the US and has a passport.

Israeli site One says that Toronto FC have been scouting him.

With this guy and Jens Cajuste, our mods are starting to slack on promoting guys from the academy forum to the big boy YA one!

Well, it looks like no one in this thread actually summoned a mod, so it will take a while before anyone notices.

Not a night that Idan will want to remember. Starts and goes 90 minutes in front of 21,594 at Sammy Ofer Stadium as the home side ran rampant over the visitors.

Idan Cohen appears to be on his way out at Hapoel Tel Aviv. The club asked him to extend his contract for one month but without pay due to the COVID-19 break in league play. Then they would make a decision on his option for next season. He is refusing.

Other clubs in Israel are not jumping on signing the right back because of training compensation that would be owed to Hapoel.

He appears to have moved back to Israel with Hapoel Ramat Gan in the second division.
