did you find one? italians strangely are not very eager to buy those classic boots. I once have been to a shop specifically denotes ad "akuna reseller" and they had 3 pairs of them! only the piuma model. and in addition one last pair of ryals...
Hi guys I'm new here Im 18 and love old school boots I think you'll be happy to hear. I've previously worn the Lazarrinis (and they ate one of my favourite boots) and I was wandering how they compare to the Akuna Cinquestelle Pima if anyone has tried them both? Also is the Akuna website still safe to buy from because Google said it isn't but still seems fine to me. Really want to buy the Storicas (again if anyone has any experience with these please tell me!). Thanks guys.
So personally I like the storicas the most, but they are only available with rubber studs, so for firm ground they are not perfect. I would recommend you the classica over the piuma, because they have leather in the inner area of the shoe and are the most durable ones in my opinion. The colibri are lighter, but have only one layer of leather and I had holes in there after 1 and half season. Ordering should be possible from the akuna website, elsewhere it could get very difficult to get them. Where are you from? I still have storicas left for sale in 42,5 EU if you are interested in.
Sorry, had to create a new account, had problems with the other one. Yes the storicas are my favourite too. I would love to buy them off you however I'm an EU 39 in leather boots. I've seen the piumas on sale so I might purchase those soon. How are the storicas compared to the colibri, cos ive seen people say the colibris are the best. Are the piumas better than the lazzarini if you know?. Thanks
I have over 10 pairs of akuna classic piumas and storicas. I find they are more comfortable than the lazzarinis. Colibri have the softest leather, but the piumas are very thin. I buy the akunas from 11 teamsports
Ah ok, I do not have so small boots available I think you go good with the piumas as a start, I would say they are at the same level than the lazzarini. I personally do not like pantofola d´oro anymore, they have shoes fabricated in china now, which is a no go for me. As sscholz700 said, the colibri is sure a fantastic boot, but not as durable as the storica or the classica in my opinion. I only have the piuma as mixed stud shoe and not used very often, so I can´t say anything about durability for this particular model. Here is a good offer: https://www.ebay.it/itm/Cinquestell...hash=item2862c850ab:m:mv7IYLnfhOqU4baa685-zJw Or this one for the classicas: https://www.ebay.it/itm/Cinquestell...hash=item282a73c8e2:m:mo_BkaFHbbFEYQwpjrrIVhA
So the piumas give that slightly more "bare foot" sensation instead of that padded feel you would say?
Also could people explain how ordering from akuna.it works? I've read that they give you a call or something?
I've found the Storicas on a Canadian website in the FG version. Although I'm in the UK. The sizing is different right, so if i bought an EU 39, it would be a Canadian 7? I don't mind paying the extra for shipping as these are the firm ground and you guys said they don't have this version on akuna.it? https://passionsoccer.ca/collection...na-cinquestelle-storica-fg-soccer-cleat-brown
yes should be seven. 6 is uk, one size bigger is us/canadian. that is correct. normally they only have the "G" soleplate (rubber studs). I would ask passionsoccer if you really get the "FG" soleplate. Not that you pay that much and then get the shoe you easily could have ordered from Italy for half the price... I never ordered from akuna.it directly by the way, so I have no clue how this works.
Going to order the storicas in a few days, they're too beautiful. Has anyone tried the Lazzarini 2.0?
You mean this one? https://www.prodirectsoccer.com/pro...-Firm-Ground-PSL225018-Black-Gold-175528.aspx You can clearly see that they lost their ambition for durability: the soleplate is just glued to the upper shoe and no more metal grommets for the laces...
I meant these https://www.prodirectsoccer.com/pro...ots-Firm-Ground-PC281602C01-Black-162249.aspx they seem to be like the normal lazzarinis, only with a bit better sole plate in my opinion, just with less of that "old school look". I agree with you about the SL, the sole plate does look cheap and for me personally I like the metal grommets too. I dont think they were necessarily designed for the old school look, more so for those who want a really light boot with quality leather. The leather does look great.
I quite like the look of them but because they're light weight id be expecting them to be not very durable? They're a bit more expensive than most other PdO models too
Yeah I'm not too sure about the durability either. Maybe not as good as the ones with the stitched sole. I've barely used them because I love my Rebulas so much.
Where do you buy your Akuna Cinquestelles from? I've seen you've got some unique ones such as the Colibri with the white stitching and logo.
The made in Japan ones look great especially the white ones. I've heard that theyre very slim though?
I found out about this brand called Retro Star the other day. I messaged them today and they said their website will be available in around November time. Think you guys might appreciate this.
