Hahahhaaaa.... yes. Juventus who have to beg for money and still sell players to pay a 100M fee (in installments) is going to buy Isco. Lmao. Let's say we have to sell...….. he's worth at least as much as EPL hype Hazard. So 220M thank you.

If the player gets benched by his surrogate father then the problems he still has are persisting. If that's the case he can go.

Hazard started the season very strong and was second best player at the WC. He is probably the best EPL player right now..
Isco has been on the bench in 50% of our games and in the games he started he was substituted.
I dont want to hype Hazard but let’s not ignore the facts.

Isco is in a bit of a slump but he's still contributing all over the pitch. Key goal over the weekend, and has a couple important tackles nearly every game, still playing very good balls to attackers, he'll be fine.

IMO, for club at least, Isco has to compete with far better players around him, if I managed Chelsea i’d start Hazard all the time too, no other choice really

Hazard is better than every attacking player we have right now.

Fair enough , to each his own, I am not Gareth’s biggest fan but i’d have Gareth before him, at least Gareth has produced at the highest level, the hattrick against Cardiff doesn’t convince me nor does beating up on England

See above for my thoughts , when I said Isco has to compete with better players I meant in their respective teams, right now Isco knows our system and how to play with us, I am happy we have him and also happy Hazard is at Chelsea scoring hattricks against Cardiff and being hailed by his manager as the best player in Europe

I wouldn’t worry too much, Isco will get plenty of game time this season, Lopetegui is trying things out at the moment, Casimero has started 2 games on the bench so far, same as Isco but no one is questioning whether he is in good standings.

Some in the forums have their preferences but luckily they have zero influence in regards to who plays or not so their demanding that Isco be benched means nothing, if he plays well ( like he has been doing, football is more than just tricks and skill moves ) then the coach will have him play an important role, at the end of the day we want a merit based system.

Hazard doesn’t get to play with an all-star cast like Bale does. He plays with fools like Morata and Giroud and to a lesser extent William and Pedro. But these players are hardly anything special. The best striker he has ever played with is Diego Costa while Bale has played with Ronaldo, etc. He’s also had the misfortune of playing under pragmatic defensive coaches which hinders his game. I have no doubt that if he played in a more offensive minded team with better players he would be even better than how good he is now. Top 3 in the world easily.

In 14 less starts last season, Bale had 3 more goals.

Bale had a 20 goal season aged 23 with Tottenham, at the time a worse cast than Chelsea. Hazard has never had a 20 goal season in the premier league.

    I'm taking Bale no doubt.

Last weekend Hazard came up with a hattrick when his team needed some individual brilliance and a goal or two. Its the exactly what Real Madrid needed. Hard to argue that "if" Hazard was signed he wouldn't have helped make the team better.

I also think Hazard has played as a number 10 at Chelsea and he has more responsibilities than Bale who has basically had the freedom to run at goal and shoot since his Tottenham days. Isco has only enjoyed the automatic starter status for one season and apart from a few games in the CL knockouts that season was a disappointment for the team on the field and in the standings

Hazard would have come in to replace Ronaldo so the Hazard v. Bale v. Isco debates are a bit redundant and irrelevant, meanwhile the guy that was signed up to wear the No. 7 can't even get on the filed late in the game when the team needs a goal and our Brazillian starlet is languishing in some lower division.

@fierro was complaining we were 4th after a first matchday win. I expected nothing less after a tie.

How much did he come up with last season when his team crashed to the Europa League spots?

Facts are Isco has won (and contributed to that winning) way more than Hazard has in his entire career. What are Hazard's achievements? If Isco played at Chelsea or 20 other top clubs he would be undisputed starter putting up better offensive numbers if that is the only metric. They are not the same player so a comparison about their game isn't really worth it. My post was about their relative value in the transfer market. Isco doesn't have the EPL hype around him and is a better player (at what he does) than Hazard. If he was put on the transfer market we should be asking no less than what was asked for Hazard just a couple of months ago when his price was at it highest due to a good WC.

Facts are on this board people always undervalue the player we have and overvalue the one we don't. Hazard is a good player but I would take Isco in my team over Hazard any day.

Ok so I was watching Christian Pulisic highlights, as you do on a Friday night after drinks. :D

I had an idea and I know I am gonna get flamed for it here but screw it. We buy Christian Pulisic in 2020. American superstar...…. marketing machine. Transfer might be a bit pricey but will pay for itself in the long run. We sell Lucas Vasquez to offset the price a bit. Then we give him all of Lucas Vasquez' mins which are plenty as we all know. If he blows up we give him a starting spot. If not he's a better Lucas Vasquez with great off field potential. We mint money during and before the 2022 WC. Upside is huge. He can be another Asensio but you know...……. American.

    Who says no?

How is his defensive contribution? Vazquez is unique in this team because he works both ways. We have lots of fantasy players. Not so many work horses.

What's the plan with our Brazilian wonderboys and Odegaard?

Lucas' minutes should go to them once they are back/take on a roll with the first team.

Pulisic in all seriousness reminds me of Messi. They run and move very similarly.
It would be awesome if he played for us ..

Well if you're going to play a few games in the U.S., this would make tons of sense.

Pulisic is a great prospect, but we already have a lot of talents at his position.

Madrid meddles in the signing of De Jong for Barça

According to the Dutch newspaper Telegraaf, Los Blancos is the last to join the list of suitors and offers 80 million. Barça were in advanced negotiations.

According to the publication, De Jong is considered one of the possible successors of Luka Modric in the coming years and Madrid wants to bid for him just like other greats such as Barça or United
