Suk should be an option given L1 exploits and limited KNT competition at CF and his exclusion is a weird mystery but he's also a pretty limited player and still hasn't displaced starting CF.

Not that I think HUJ is suddenly hot s*** now either.

But it's a fact that there are no strikers better than HUJ + SHJ atm. No point of using shitty players like JDW and KSW over them.

lol. All it takes is HUJ to score on some fourth tier kids to become an automatic #2?

We can get inflated expectations during these tournaments where the defenses are quite substandard to the echelon of world football we want to be in. The senior sides of these countries don't have challenging defenses, let alone their jv teams.

But goals are goals and HEJ deserves some NT run to see if he can ride this form and confidence.

I think in these friendlies, he'll be brought back down to Earth and remind us all why we were never high on him since debuting.

lol it's pretty funny how you guys keep saying as if scoring in Asian Games is not that hard at all and as if Korean players scored a bunch easily in the past. Not to mention, most of HUJ's goals were not even easy tap-in goals.

And HUJ did not even get enough chances in the NT compared to JDW/KSW/etc.. Not sure why ppl keep sayin he got enough chances. 11 games in total. Did not even start/play fulltime for most. Every single player was fking shit in most of those games as well.

You guys need reality check lol. Korea doesnt have strikers like Griezmann.

Dude, you're the only one putting down other players to prop up HUJ. He'll get his chance.

perhaps he could have scored in other ways but suk hyunjun could not have replicated hwang euijos goals even if his career depended on it

All Im saying is it's just pretty stupid that some ppl here r taking HUJ's goals for granted. I doubt they even watched the matches anyway.

    :speechless:

HUJ seems like he can't use his weak foot.

There are not that many players who can use his weak foot well even in Europe, but yeah, that's one of his weaknesses.

I haven't watched any of our games because of work but how is Kim Jinya playing? Interesting how he plays as LB when he mostly plays at the right (RW/RB) for Incheon.

He's been good. He reminds me of skeletor aka Kim Jungwoo but smaller I think. Crazy energy level throughout 90 minutes. Pretty consistent.

He has PJS like workrate, good timing for overlaping (since KO phase) and also surprised me with his decent defending. I dare to say that our fullbacks have played an essential part in reaching the finals. There are moments though where you can see that he hasn't played LB a lot (not good at defending when the opponent player crosses). Can't judge his crossing because he never crosses. I guess he has no confidence in his left foot. I've written it before, but him and KMH need to get developed to RB/RWBs. Both have shown better and solid performances in this tournament than the FBs in the last U23 tournaments.

To be fair though, I think the level of play and competition this Asian games has been poor relative to previous tournaments. Having a superior team will open up easier lanes for him to exploit offensively.
Against a decent winger, I can easily see this guy getting burned.

Deserves a shot as our RB/RWB though, agreed. Because who else do we even have at that spot..
