It would be cool if he came back triumphant and helped us get 6 points in March.

So far he is looking pretty good in February.

So he's been playing full 90 minutes for his club?!?! Finally!

I hope he gets called up, even if he's only been playing a month, if he has been consistently playing 90 mins I'll take him to start in B'quilla next to Sánchez any day!

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. Abel had a great season in Portugal. Seems to me like he's still got a couple years of European futbol left in him. Don't get me wrong; as a Cali fan, I'm excited to see him play. But part of me thinks he shouldn't be completely written on off the National Team. This move doesn't help his chances.

It could help his chances if he helps Cali do well.
But maybe Aguilar knows something we don't know.

We are doing a generational change doubt Pekerman will call him regardless of what he does. Like people said in other Threads. Cuellar, Lerma, Barrios and a few other young players need to be given a shot. Still shocked Lerma and Cuellar didn't make the Copa America roster.

Abel pre a Pekerman was one of my favorite players. He was my favorite when a Rueda was coach. He needs to retire from
The NT so I can stop hating him.

I haven't been able to watch NYC play much yet. I find the Texas teams to be pretty interesting as far as MLS level goes. Curious to see if Aguilar can displace either Ulloa or Gruezo in the starting 11.

Aguilar is already training with the team but im yet to see an official announcement

what pace? The teams in the MLS give players a ridiculous amount of space and time on the ball. They look like high school teams.

I think you are wrong man. MLS is nothing compared to the big leagues in Europe but there are some great teams in the league. Teams like Atlanta United press a lot and play a very South American type of soccer. Same with New York RedBulls they are know for their high pressing soccer and speed of play. New York City FC is also very similar to RedBulls. I get why we hate on the MLS a lot on these threads but its a league that is changing and changing quick. Up and coming teams like LA FC are playing fun and quick soccer.
