I think you can read this deal as pretty much an obligation to buy and that if we have to pay that to get Caldera as well then sign my ass up. Ill pay a little extra for Pipta if it gets me this sweet deal that we cant really "lose". Both teams I think got a good deal when its all said and done with the potential for to be the better deal for us more so than Juve.
Yes, and everyone last year was thinking (myself included) that Bonucci was going to be a mentor to Romagnoli, and towards the end of the season it was Romagnoli carrying his ass. So, good luck to Chiellini and everyone else at Juve. At least he'll hit Ronaldo with a lot of long balls. They're going to have to bypass the midfield a lot of the plan is to play Pjanic in front of the defense

https://football-italia.net/125840/kalinic-brings-milan-profit there's the headline. the article goes on to explain that there is really is no profit, but due to accounting practices we will show one. the facts are we just signed the guy for 20M a month ago and turned around and sold him for 15M. that's a 5M loss regardless of your amortization schedule or the wages we saved by selling.
i'm bummed to see locatelli go, but i know he needs to play. hopefully there's a discounted buy back clause in the deal.
I wonder if they're closer to SMS and wanted to make more room. Leonardo is saying he's going to go in reasonably hard for him, even though Lotito is adamant he wants the full $100m up front.
two more in with laxalt and castillejo. the window closes 1800 CET. that's noon eastern in the US. i'd love to see rabiot come in. fingers crossed.
We need a new transfer thread. Cristante made a sweet pass to dzeko- today in the cl. Dzeko- choked but it was still a nice play. We gave up on Cristante too early, not saying he's great..
