Max Meyer gets his big money move to the Premier League. But at what cost? https://m.dw.com/en/max-meyer-gets-...he-premier-league-but-at-what-cost/a-44910979
Crystal Palace agree £170,000-a-week deal with Max Meyer as they prepare to make German highest paid player The four-year contract for midfielder Max Meyer would be worth £35million Meyer's salary is higher than the £120,000-a-week they pay Christian Benteke It would also put the 22-year-old among the top 20 best-paid players in England http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-week-deal-Max-Meyer-highest-paid-player.html
interest from clubs all over Europe and Meyer chooses a terrible club like Palace for $$$. So unprofessional. not sure who has the worse EPL move him or Schurrle.
@Rosebud ... Meyer on a free yet his club of "choice" is terribly underwhelming. Weren't you expecting big things from the "kid" (well, he'll turn 23 next month).
Patrick Herrmann linked with FC Nürnberg http://www.fussballtransfers.com/bundesliga/herrmann-vor-bundesliga-wechsel_94077
We’ll he was expecting possession football to dominate this World Cup And no need for strikers and so on Proved everything wrong
interest all over Europe and this is the final result. We're delighted to announce Max Meyer has joined #CPFC 🦅 on a three-year deal! #MeyerOfLondon👉 https://t.co/KGQMlbJfqF pic.twitter.com/l0OjnRcyZF— Crystal Palace F.C. (@CPFC) August 2, 2018
Yes ... actual, tangible interest (or just rumours, who knows). Even CPFC don't look too bothered about their new acquisition. #Meyer - Ups, kleine Panne: Crystal Palace nimmt Foto von #Kimmich statt #Meyer (Danke für die Hinweise von euch 👌🏻) pic.twitter.com/lBA7xJbW51— Dirk g. Ginczek scored in Wolfsburg's 3-0 friendly win vs Ajax, assisted by Gerhardt. Ginczek also assisted on their third goal later on
Hendrik Weydandt bagged a brace in Hannover's 5-1 friendly win vs Udinese https://www.hannover96.de/aktuelles...sieg-im-ersten-test-gegen-udinese-calcio.html
seems very unlikely that 95-Weydandt won't make his pro debut next season. His career is interesting, never played beyond 4th division and is now basically Hannover's top scorer in preseason. in Championship, O.Hernandez scored twice and both times to level the game for Norwich as it ends 2-2, with Srbeny assisting the 2nd goal in the 90+4 minutes.
Füllkrug scored in Hannover's second friendly win vs Udinese which finished 2-1. Daniel Steininger scored in Greuther Fürth's season opener, as they won 3-1 vs Sandhausen Maxi Philipp sets a positive outlook towards the new season and believes that he's capable of scoring 15-18 goals if he was to be counted on in a striker role http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...-18-tore---philipp_das-kann-ich-schaffen.html
Sane and Gundo win another trophy as Man City beat Chelsea/Rudiger in the Community Shield 2-0. lol 1026210124946440196 is not a valid tweet id all that's left is Gnabry as CB and Keeper.
today's game was Goretzka's 1st for Bayern but I didn't watch it, so I wouldn't know how he played. more interested in competitive performance over friendly.
MUFC open talks with Bayern over the potential signing of Jerome Boateng. Bayern want around £50m for him. Utd hoping to barter them down to around £40m. Boateng wants to leave Bayern. PSG also interested.https://t.co/2tq1hCcKYe— Paul Hirst (@hirstclass) August 6, 2018
Patrick Herrmann could be an option for Hannover https://www.transfermarkt.de/p-herr...m/154/thread_id/1036518/page/1#anchor_2493934
Seems like Johannes Geis might end up staying at Schalke for the time being. Chance could open up right now with Serdar and Mascarell's injury. In the long run, a proper move away would be more beneficial for him IMO. https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/sc...h-lauert-geis-wieder-56568042.bildMobile.html Although Kaan Ayhan and Andre Hoffmann are currently ahead of him in Düsseldorf's CB ranks, Robin Bormuth to establish himself https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/fortuna-duesseldorf/fortuna-bormuth-56565100.bildMobile.html
Norwich's highlight 2-2 draw. O.Hernandez did well on both goals. And Srbeny seems to be improving a lot since last season, had 2 good runs from midfield. 1st were he started a chance that was barely missed and the other with the tying assist. That was always the issue with the German players who joined Norwich in Winter, it will take them time to adapt to a new league, especially for Srbeny who's never played beyond 3rd Liga before his Winter move to the Championship. And this season they've seem to have adapted a lot more.
Hope Srbeny is able to set a target of scoring at least 8-10 goals in the Championship this season. Seems like it'll take Passlack more time to work his way into a spot in the active match day selection.
