True, but on the flip side I think it’s a little early to assume he’ll actually get playing time so it just depends what way you look at it. I hope to god he comes good, but I’m preparing for the worst
Yeah for sure, we’ll see soon enough. I do think Kovac will be a better coach for him than Ancelotti. If he can break into the starting XI every once in a while as well as be one of the first options in terms of subs this season, I’ll deem it a step in the right direction. He’ll be fighting with Vidal, Groetzka, Gnaby & Rudy for 2 spots. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for him to win out if he’s feeling confident

Renato Sanches is ready to fight for his place at Bayern Munich - and that means continuing to battle, even if he doesn't win a spot when the season opens. pic.twitter.com/nfTdmZGWDs— GOAL News (@GoalNews) July 24, 2018

The fans have been calling for him to be in the starting 11 more and more each week.
He was really good when subbed on. The only thing bad was his finish when he rounded the keeper. Should have scored but he admitted his left foot isn't that good but would have been LOLS if he managed to do it again to Poland.
