We are battling with PSG to sign 31-year-old AC Milan defender Leonardo Bonucci.

Manchester United are preparing a bid for Leicester City's Harry Maguire, 25, for £50m. As much as I liked the way he played in the World Cup and I thought he played well and I was impressed. This does seem a little too high for him.

We have some young CBs in Christensen and Amapdu. We still have Zouma on the books. We also have that big American bloke Matt Miazga.

 

Has PSG actually made the Mbappe payment yet? His deal was a 1 year-loan with option to buy for €145mm. They just squeaked through on FPP and will fail it miserably next year. If I’m Real that’s who I’d be after over Neymar.

If we buy Higuain we’re smoking crack.

I'd be so happy if we bought him but idk if he's ready for the EPL this coming year. I'd want to get a world class RW and Pulisic to back up Hazard and the new RW. Plenty of games for them.

 

We should be using the Willian money on someone like Martial. We should really sell Zappacosta. We really need to hope that Emerson comes good next season, because Alonso as a fullback is a very different proposition than Alonso as a wingback.

 

I suspect PSG will dig their way out of the FFP hole by selling Neymar to Real. Makes all kinds of sense for everyone.

 

I'd rather sell Moses. Zappacosta can at least provide depth at RB. Moses is useless.

 

Let's keep everyone and add better players.

Skysports is reporting that Barcelona is keen on Kante on a deal that includes us receiving Andre Gomes (plus cash) in exchange. This is more or less as if Bayern were selling Lewandowski and getting Fernando Torres in exchange. I mean, Andre Gomes is so bad that he didn’t even manage to get into Portugal national team’s bench on the World Cup, even considering very low level competition. If someone asked for a price for Kante, I’d say something around 150m. If they are offering me Andre Gomes on the deal, I’d raise the amount to 180m, at least to enable myself to pay his wages without touching the rest of the club’s money. Ridiculous.

 

Jorginho has been presented at The Bridge. Great signing, made all the better that we beat City to him.

Now for Pulisic and Martial.

If we send Morata to Juve in exchange for Higuain we will need to proceed with the new stadium as I’ll burn down The Bridge.

 

Hazard and Courtois have been wanting to go to Real Madrid for a long time now. Do Real want them? That is the only unknown at this stage. Or would Real Madrid prefer Neymar and/or Mbape and that Brazilian keeper with the girls name?

Maybe we should sign Neymar?
