At least Sterling is getting in dangerous positions. More of those chances and he'll put one away eventually.

Actually I think he's quite good at pens even though there's no facts to back him up. Pens and 1-on-1's are different.

This has already been his best game in terms of creating and getting in dangerous areas.

Sterling has been frustrating. So greedy. The goal came when he finally passed to Young when near the box. That lead to the corner. So many times he held onto to the ball when a pass was on.

No. He's causing them trouble more than anyone else.

He's making some good runs, but what was that play where he decided to ignore three team mates and go solo from an impossible angle?

I have to agree, but that’s because Sweden is for the most part rubbish; for somebody playing at this level some of Sterling’s touches and decisions have been atrociously poor.

But he's done a lot more than Alli or, so far, Kane.

I don't buy how Sweden is so rubbish. Maybe perhaps we're not too open like Germany and we're the only side who can score on corners. Now we've opened them up.

Sterling just looks completely sorts of confidence. One goal and you'll see a completely different player.

You have to wonder what Wilshere must be thinking watching Henderson playing in midfield instead of him .

England better hope Russia beat Croatia . But this England aren't beating them with Hendeson, Ali and Young in the team . All three contrbute nothing offensively

I can only go by what I’m seeing right now, and it’s hoof after hoof, passes into touch and flick ons to nobody. Sorry, Sweden is poor. Organised, maybe. Still poor.

Subbing Sterling right now, who has been our most creative and aggressive player would be the dumbest thing to do right now
