Memo needs to be the captain. He needs to be organizing the defense and the defense needs to get rid of guys like Moreno, Ayala. no old guys.
Time to move on from this gen, except for maybe Herrera, Ochoa, and Vela can be like an early 30s Cuauh. For a generation of #mex players, this was the last opportunity to reach a #worldcup quarterfinal in their prime. Chicharito, Moreno, Layun, Ochoa, Gio, Herrera, Vela and Guardado will all be 32 or over come Qatar 2022. #eltrieng— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) July 2, 2018
Please fire Osorio. The guy always blames the refs in elimination games or in high profile games. So dumb.
No doubt, whether he continues or not, Osorio will regret that game for the rest of his life. Betrayed his tactical principals and the team paid the price for it. You need luck in this and that was our chance to create our own. Damn.
That boggled my mine. You got a legit beast in Fabian on the bench but you put on Jona’s out of shape ass on the pitch. No mames. I was able to see bits of the first half but did they really play better with Rafa on the pitch?
Snake oil salesman. And some here thought he was a genius because every once in a while he got it right.
Everyone saying the coach needs to be Mexican including Hugol is a nationalistic simpleton. We gotta get past this kind of thinking. Give the job to the best option available, and right now no Mexican comes to mind.
Osorio and his stupidity of blaming refs she should care less if the ref was on their side . great teams dont give a ******** and they push through it . refs we can't control but finishing our chances we can making good tactical changes we can. Players making good and smart decision. Lots of times they could have taken a sec or 2 more and made better passes. No first touch shots always taking an extra move or pass. Marco and tecatito were need.
Honestly a team that can finish will fack them up. They looked average AF against a shit Mexican side.
I'm excited to see what Rafa Puente can do with a decent budget. Roberto Hernandez has done a terrific job with Morelia and the innovative Sergio Bueno worked wonders with an awful team in Chiapas. It's up to the bigger clubs to give these guys a chance.
