What's even there to learn + grow as our manager? We are not a European team. We dont play against European teams often either. STY wont learn shit from managing our NT. Besides, we need someone who can TEACH us, not GROW/LEARN with us. You are taking the manager position too lightly. Maybe it's KFA's fault as they made it look like that way.
It is definitely a demanding post. Playing in Asia sees Korea in the role of the dominant team, but on the WC, a different approach is required.
Dang it Hodori, you beat me to the punch! I must've seen this clip like 10 times now. I love everything about it. If anyone has a full link to that show, please post!
As a side comment, this is probably a match that will be remembered for a long time. It had the makings of a typical Korean drama. Back and forth quarrel between two people (Good opportunities but no goals produced during 90 mins). Build-up that leads to a happy result (KYG scores a goal). The girl finds out that she has an incurable disease (goal ruled offside). Shimmer of hope leads to a cure (VAR replay). Girl is cured (Ruled a goal). Couple lives happily together (SHM's goal bumps Korea up to the 3rd spot in the group).
Best Korean Drama I've ever watched for sure. Ratings and view counts are still skyrocketing as well.
Also has major heartbreak where Korea wins the crucial contest but its erstwhile homie Mexico makes it to the next round because of twist of fate. Life is stranger than fiction. After the popularity of the 2018 mini-series, the production team will try to build on its success for even a bigger blockbuster 4 years later, spending more on a big name director and staff. (Fingers crossed.)
http://www.scmp.com/comment/insight.../asian-teams-soccers-world-cup-show-way-china Found the original article out of curiosity. The Korean articles def have a bit of 국뽕 added to them hahaha
Not sure if this has been posted, but I just came across this and thought it was hilarious... Korea 2-0 Germany | Player ratings from Bild.Bild decided not to give any ratings for Germany players following their pathetic performance pic.twitter.com/d7CV9IeAzh— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) June 28, 2018
I'll attribute this to the shock of German analysts that made them unable to look at performances objectively.
