Was just reading the big soccer politics section and saw the whole board literally acting like they lose a family member seeing Kennedy want to retire from the Supreme Court. Wanted to tease them but didn't want to be banned and I don't know if they'd even debate my points if I called them out on their shiit

Can't blame them. As much as people bash that side of the bracket, they still have to get by Colombia and Croatia/Spain.

And I'm so sick of mainstream pundits and journalists during this World Cup and I'm not even focusing on the American coverage. I have heard this line so many times "tactics really doesn't matter in world cups , it's all about the players" hogwash then you have a smart guy like Jon cox saying this would be a Boring ass World Cup because we won't see pressing and he was shitting on all the periphery teams before the World Cup acting like they had no chance due to "muh pressing and "muh champions lg is so great" this is better than the champions lg someone prove me wrong ?? I like seeing great players surrounded by average and above average players. And then the tactics don't matter arguement is like reducing soccer to NBA tier Shiit. Very annoying.

Yeah. To be honest, CL football isn't really that interesting. It's pretty predictable. And of course tactics matter. What dumb statement.

After sitting through the slow pace of Germany, France, and Argentina, the tempo of this game has been refreshing.

Portugal isn't the stifling defence they were in the EURO. Much more attacking.

Portugal doesn't look bad offensively but damn Uruguay is pretty damn organized. Going to be hard to score

Yeah. And Portugal have to be careful about diagonals to Suarez and Cavani. I've been impressed with Uruguay's accuracy on those. Creates instant offence.
