yes I have Fubo and have been using it for about 6 months. Its really good. Can't remember what package or price I pay but its the one with FOX Deportes, BEIN Sports , FS1, etc.

All the essentialls to watch games. I want to say I pay like 20 bucks a month more or less. But I really enjoy it, I use it to watch everything because I hate paying like 200 dollars so I can watch Colombia play because its the only package they'll give you with the right soccer channels.

I also recommended to a friend of mine and he's enjoying it now too. I watch games on the tv through an hdmi cord. But you can watch on your pc/laptop/phone. Whatever you want pretty much. All in HD. Sometimes its a bit laggy or it will freeze but its not a huge deal for me. Im just happy I can watch my games and not go bankrupt paying for a bunch of channels idgaf about.

im about to watch valencia play actually here at work on the computer using fubo.

I just tried Direct tv now and it doesn’t look like all the channels are in HD.

I picked the package with the least channels. 3 months for $35 each + a free 4k Apple TV. I also got $35 off because I have a bank America credit card

been watching the WC for free on telemundo app on my Apple TV 4k. (free with 3 months of Directv now subscription). Issue with Directv now is that its not great 4K or HD. Def a lot weaker then other services.

Just started SlingTV spanish deal. Its only $10 for all soccer channels.... (super boner for that)..... + $5 for South American package + $3 so I have 3 streams. 1 at my house, 2 at my parents. $18 not bad compared to what comcast was having me pay so my mom can watch her novelas

How is slingTV HD/4K? I'm seriously considering cutting my cable but sports/HD are a big must for me, and while the streams on FOX/Telemundo are decent on my RokuTv/FireTV, I still find them below what you get with TV service...

    Telemundo app is incredible

The video quality is better then Comcast(the devil but best cable company in the area)

Video quality in sling is ok. Not as good as Comcast but then again it might just be the channels. As these channels on Comcast, dish network and Directv look like shit as well. I know they have HD in Colombia. Don’t know why it’s not HD in the US.

Some of the shit isn’t even wide screen it shows up as full screen

Haven’t tested it yet but apps like fox sports, beinsports, and actual channels for some reason look better then when I used Comcast or directv now.

But $15 bucks a month can’t be beat and mom and grand ma give 0 shits about HD.

Everyone always talks about canceling cable to save money, but i find that it's not worth it since you still need internet and the bundle packages are cheap as opposed to just internet

Kind off. I mean it won't be as big as your whole cable/internet bill but you could save some money. Currently my bill is about $180, like half internet, half TV.

To get a streaming service, I'd have to get 1000 Mbps internet which is like $100, plus whatever the service costs, which I think would be like $50 or maybe $60, especially because I watch a ton of sports, which are not part of the skinny packages you get for under $30.

IOW, if I didn't have high requirements, I could probably do away with about $120-130 bill, saving $50/month or $600/year. That could work for somebody who is mostly into movies or new series and not too demanding regarding HD. But in my case, the savings would be like $20 or 30 per month, and I'd be risking not getting HD/4k sports, for the price of dinning out by myself.

If I were to cut the cable, I would need a HD streaming service that guaranteed quality and a good supply of sports, and even saving so little could be awesome, just to get rid of so many useless cable channels (oh yeah, you get 200 channels!!! but half of them are crap and another quarter you never watch).

Don’t know where you live but in

New England area. Cable packages start at $80.... next year $100 year after $120.... for 3 or 5 channels you might like

I have only had cable for 6 years since I finished college. I pay $30-45 bucks for my internet. + Netflix (use to be $8 a month now it’s free because I have T-Mobile)

What fks me hard in the ass is I pay for my parents internet and tv. That’s where I need to find deals. My mom wants to watch Caracol and RCN. It’s very expensive to get in the area and looks like crap.

Tho sometimes I go over and watch them just watching novellas on YouTube. They just want to watch the news

All 3 of the Colombian channels are full screen.... ew

Weak HD potentially for the channels on regular tv. My internet is 60 MBs and you only need 7 for HD so think it’s the service

    45 for internet

    My parents house
    30 bucks for internet
    18 for slingtv
    (Before was directvnow for $35)

Thing is with them they go to colombia twice a year for at least 2 months each time.

Comcast doesn’t let me suspend service. So with internet/Cable it’s $100+ for their stuff for 4 months they don’t use at least.

With directv or sling they leave for Colombia and I just tell them I am out of the country and need to suspend service and don’t ahve to pay. I cancel Comcast internet. Sometimes they allow me to just suspend the internet only

I get 90 mbs per sec. My parent house is 60.... thats plenty fast.

If you have a big house just get a mesh system. I have the google wifi and it works great my house is 3 floors and 2,500 square feet with 1.3 acres..... I have 2 google wifi routers and have a good signal the whole house

So with a Apple TV tho think all of them have it but the espn app and the telemundo app are awesome

Italian league and EPL In hd. Get the spanish league on beinsports :)

Again any way to get the Colombian league in HD? Watching games looks like watching someone play final fantasy 7 with all the boxy players.

The hidden killer is the gear. Verizon charges like 15-20 bucks per box and then $10 for dvr. So for my home with three TV's we we're at like $60+ (Inc tax) just for hard wear that you don't need at all if you just stream.

So we cut the cord and went with YTtv. The interface is slick and it's nice to be able to pull tv anywhere. The only issue is no beIN so I am without la liga until I figure out a good solve or just get the fubolatino package...

Do you get Colombian games in hd? It’s so hard to tell what’s going on. Seriously the Colombian channel looks just as bad on Comcast, sling tv, directvnow, directv, dishnetwork as it does when you use rojadirecta

While I agree with you that cable is expensive and full of crap, the latest developments in streaming (i.e. end of net neutrality, price hikes), the advantages that they have, are now less significant and I'd probably only be saving about $30/month while sacrificing some quality, variety and a yuuuuge DVR.

Issue is unless you do the annoying every year change name of account holder they do a insane price hike. My cable was 70 to 90 the 3rd year would be 120 to 150. Comcast is the devil.

Now I pay for my parents internet, my internet (30 each) + 45 for directv now. 3 tvs can watch at the same time. For $105 bucks. I have 60-75 mbs per second so the TV quality is pretty good except for the spanish channels but they look like shit regardless of what provider you have in new england

I cancel Directvnow every 3 months and use a different name. not because the price goes up but because they give me a $180 4k Appletv for getting a 3 month subscription. They also give you roku or a diff smart tv thing. For the AppleTV you need 3 months
