Idiot me, I forgot him! He played with CJJ up front!

@aeh1991 Lee Ho was a beast in the game, no joke. 98 for body balance at one point. Exceptional DMF, nobody could get past him and the 3 CB-s in behind.

Some magician needs to transform that virtual version into a new DMF for Korea now.

i love how AJH says 욕먹기전에좀잘하지.

but i gotta say, that first goal was comically gift wrapped. kroos nutmegs sule and it lands right at the feet of an unmarked KYG at the far post. any other outcome besides a goal, would've led to a jump in new TV and monitor sales for the korean market.

JHS would've been saved by the fury at KYG and they would both probably be safer riding their days out in the 북.

Fortune favors the brave. And the hard-working.

I was watching the game, and knew Korea couldn't go through (Mexico got wrecked fast), but I was willing one of the Korean counters to go in. I was thinking: ˝Ok, a heroic draw is great too.˝ But then, that goal. And the offside call. ˝F--- off, ref!!˝ Then VAR saves the day. ˝Yassss!˝
I explode and remember the last stanza of Aegukga. That 2. goal comes- Neuer way off his goal...Son just runs away, I know he's not missing it. Korea's just the best....wow...so much euphoria.

According to the representatives of Apertura, a German agency for Korean players says: "There are already inquiries about the one or the other players, even though Korea is out of the group stage and didn't do well" (the article was published before the German game).

Guess who's their client? Kim Young Gwon!

In a side note, he also talked about how a German agency came to represent Korean players: "8 years ago, we sent scouts to China to conquer the Chinese market, but then we realized that they all can't play football. So we turned our attention to Korea."
LOOOOOOOL And the Chinese cheered for the Germans, what an irony :ROFLMAO:

It really is an amazing thing. I used to play with Chinese international students during my college days and boy, they all had the fanciest kits (Arsenal from head to toe, kit and short and socks) but they were absolutely horrendous at teamwork.

I remember we trounced them with half of our squad co-ed.

To be fair, after our first two games I was wondering if we knew how to play football too.

i dont think shin taeyong should remain at helm but i think its poor sport to downplay a win that not one of us predicted prior to the match. had the result of the other match been different (completely out of shin taeyongs control) korea would be in the knockout stages right now at which point there would be no argument to be made for his departure

The other matches we played, specifically the SWE match, were under STY’s control and he totally botched the tactics. That was the match we needed points from and the idiot STY f*cked that one up massively. He deserves to go.
