    Hi everyone,

A friendly reminder: we're all here for the football. With that in mind, we here are taking a zero-tolerance policy towards expressions of racism, sexism, discrimination based on sexual orientation, xenophobia, ad hominem attacks, insults (towards a group of people, countries, or fellow posters) and trolling. Infractions will get you booked - and if you ask where was your warning, this is it. If you see a fellow poster insulting you or a part of your identity (race, sex, nationality, etc.)? Don't respond in kind - REPORT IT. It is the fastest way for us mods to handle the offending posts.

So, with that said, good luck to both sides, and let's enjoy!

I'm in Kazan at the moment and attending this one. This place is crawling with Iranians. There's not a Spaniard in sight. Iran will literally be at home tomorrow but we'll see. With Iran actually lying 2 points ahead of Spain this game is starting to look a lot more interesting now. Also Kazan is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended to anyone who comes to Russia.

Spain will take this one, because it's a better side and because it really needs the 3 points.

    Spain 2 - 1 Iran

The truth is that with only 1 point so far, if there is even the slightest suggestion from the match that Spain may end up losing, and head to M3 with only 1 point facing elimination, they will begin to lose their confidence, focus, and determination. If the game starts and, after 10-20 minutes, Spanish anxiety and doubts start creeping in, we will have the chance to exploit it.

The score from this match will be anybody's guess, although I am sure most would pick Spain to win with a decent margin. Under most scenarios, Spain should be able to carve out at least a few good chances. Under some scenarios, Iran will likewise get a few too. I hope we finish ours and they don't.

I go with my heart and pick Iran to win 2:0. Hope we will see a good match, at least a goal or 2 for Iran, but not any or many goals for Spain:)

Good luck with your prediction. However I don’t subscribe to it. I think Spain will outplay Iran from top to toe. On a bad day Spain will win 2-0. On an average day 3-0 or 4-0. On a good day 5-0 or 6-0. On an excellent day 7-0 or 8-0.

Iran is not Saudi Arabia, and Spain is missing the head coach. 3-0 is a fair outcome.

Spain will have problems scoring against Iran, mark my words!

Therefore, I predict 0-0 game, 1-0 win for Spain at best

I am surprised. Our starting lineup is a very offensive one. I expected very defensive lineup. Hope everything goes well for us.

We’re playing 3 natural strikers against Spain, who would’ve know [emoji23] I think it’s because of their height and physicality that they are played, all of Azmoun, Ansarifard and Taremi are 186cm+

I hope what happened for Mexico in their first game happens for us today. I am still shocked with our extremely offensive lineup. We are starting the game with three forwards.

let's go Iran! shock the world and be the first Asian nation to qualify! or at least hold on to a 0x0 draw... a draw would actually be an amazing achievement.

especially if you are forced to watch Argentina. At least you can watch 11 players play.
