Uruguay is not the type of team that scores 5+ goals, even against weaker opponents. Their system is very methodical and focuses on defense first. They don't commit many numbers into attack. A lot of their goals in the run of play come from only 2-3 players in the box, usually Suarez and Cavani. Of course when you have Suarez and Cavani, you can rely on quick individual attacks that don't require a ton of buildup.
bias. I think the WC is rigged and I'm not even joking anymore at this point. They've had so many upsets that they'll hate to see all big names gone home after 2 matches. EDIT: I know that it makes no sense because it should have been a corner for Uruguay (not against them), but the key point in my statement was BIAS, not if it's logical or not
90% of the time, Suarez woulda flopped during the grappling he was doing with the defender. Good for him he didn't this time.
