I criticize his non-sense logic, the reasons why he picked MSM. If he called up Moon because he had experience in Sweden, why he ignored JDW who have played 5 years in Germany ? If MSM, according to STY, would be useful against Sweden, why JDW wouldn't be useful against Germany ? This is not logic.

Then I never said I was against Korean players from Sweden to be called up. That's not what I said, at all. That said, atm, he is a K-League player and no longer a Swedish leagues player. And from what I've seen, he is not impressive at all : poor ball control compared to his teammates, he doesn't know what to do with the ball and loses it many times. Only his movements off the ball seemed quite interesting against Bolivia. But as it stands,Imo, he has not the level required to play a WC. That's crazy players like SHJ, LCM, JDW, NTH or even PSH were ignored while a guy way less talented like him made the squad.
I hope I am wrong and that he will prove me wrong quickly.

it's not like ji dongwon would've been the difference maker and it's not like he would've increased our chances of winning by any significant amount, but he certainly seems like a much better option that moon sungmin. but you know what? every manager is biased. didn't stielike favor players playing in the c-leauge? I'm just going to chalk it off as it being shin taeyongs bias because I can't see it logically.

The lady doth protest too much.

Why are you surprised that his first two appearances, one of which came during a week where they decided to train through with minimal tapering, was less than impressive?

IMO Moon is much more talented and quick than most of this KNT squad. Ji and the others you mentioned don't have the same skill set, speed, and ability to regularly beat his marker. I have seldom seen a Korean player with feet as quick and skillful as Moon. I see Moon as a good foil for Son. I don't think the Swedes will be underestimating Moon for sure. This will create space for Son, Hwang, and LJS to exploit. The biggest danger is that Son will fail to pass Moon the ball when the latter makes one of his runs into space.

I remember when he selected Koh Myung-jin after his move to Qatar, but he didn't give a crap about him when he was playing with FC Seoul. The dude wasn't even good enough for the NT when he was FC Seoul and he still isn't good for the NT playing in Qatar.

Is enthusiasm so low that we don't even have a thread for the Senegal match?
