The France-Australia-Denmark-Peru group is the second highest-ranked and the second in standard deviation, with the first in both being the Brazil group --but there Brazil has a clear advantage. In the France group, France is not that far ahead of the others to pencil them in as group winners. It may prove to be the Group of Death.
EPB has slotted in seamlessly since coming on and I am impressed how well the defense has held together given the subs. Everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing.
I have watched a lot of CCV the last 3-4 years. Part of his dominace at the youth level was him having the frame of a 25 year old man at 16. He also played with a very high soccer IQ to negate his slightly slower pace. At the top level he loses the physical dominance a bit. I almost feel he needs to slim down about 10 lbs. This next year will probably make or break his career. Tottenham still belivebin his future obviously but his loan stint will need to be impressive.
Yeah, I don't think we have any bad center backs. We're like 6 deep. We've hardly ever played well in 3-back formations (vs Mexico in 2002 a notable exception), but I have to believe that our next coach is going to look at our strengths and weaknesses and give a 3-back system some serious consideration for a while at least...
oh yeah head to head contact and blood all over the place they were ok I don't see who could see that and think their might be any injury especially a head injury lol.
Definitely. Well, we have to get our best players on the field. Looks like a lot of those players might be defenders and central midfielders. So, a formation like this could be reliable.
