Griezmann is pressing a bit - he's wasted a few good chances.

I wouldn't say that's unique to this game.

Great cross into the box on that offside play though.

Well, I can explain that decision simply again just as I did four years ago, and I agreed w/everyone at the time that it was the wrong decision, but I still understood what Klinsy was doing.

He wasn't happy with Donovan ghosting for a year or whatever it was, and he didn't like the hold Donovan had on the locker room, and he thought the simplest and easiest way to leave his imprimatur on the team, and clear out the distraction of Donovan and his minutes on the field. It was a ghastly decision, but I've seen coaches boot out guys that they viewed as distractions, or obstacles to their control many times, remember Roy Keane and Ireland in 2002 (and I will own that Donovan was not and would never be as thoroughly a distraction as Keane was deliberately or unconsciously)? It happens all the time. Doesn't make it any less stupid, but there are many coaches that view having total control as more important than the having the best 23 on the roster.

Bobby is killing us with these offsides. He’s not going to be in a top league playing like that.

I swear Varane is the most overrated player in world football today.

Taylor's schpiel about Woods not getting back onside is deserved, but if I'm France you know what I see? Hugo Lloris just got beaten not once but twice to the near post.

    Uh-oh...

Me, too. I think Steffan's growing into the role. I liked him a lot as a YNTer because he was a gamer, and that mentality has served him well in his transition to the senior professional game.

CCV always looks pissed. That's good for a CB.
