Was this app developed by fifa? Is it legit?

 

I just downloaded the Free Train App and my booking says: "Please Await a Reply" and not "Confirmed" as some show. Anyone else in the same situation??

I sent an email to the support contact, let's see how long it takes them to respond. I will let you know what they say.

My first free train on the 15th to Moscow is now confirmed and the ticket can be printed both via the link above and on the transport app. The later train on the 20th is still not but its good to see some progress.

 

Same here. I received a message from the app in my phone(it was in russian, so i didnt have a clue of what was written). My first free train is again confirmed.

 

Over on TripAdvisor some people are saying that boarding passes will be emailed out a week before the date of your free train ride.

And that even without a boarding pass you could get on if your seats are confirmed on transport2018.com, so long as you can show this info when trying to board the train.

Does anyone know if I would be able to scan my boarding pass on my phone in PDF format or it must be printed?

 

I received an email from them an hour ago (unprovoked) with my boarding pass for June 20th for 2 people. I have since printed it.

I remember I reserved them pretty early but IDK if that has anything to do with it. Still waiting for my other 4.

 

Never mind. The main thing is that the barcode can be scanned.

 

I got mine last night and I reserved them pretty late.

 

i did mine few days ago and not got anything yet although im assuming it will be sorted by then.

I was told by a friend whos got his that there issued a week before so they should be on the way for those of you needing them for next week.

 

So I received an email today saying that my bookings are confirmed. Then about 2 hours later I received notification on the app as well. It all shows confirmed!!! Bring on the World CUP!!

I received my boarding pass today.

 

The maximum of weight for luggage in free trains is 36 kg, but could it be in two luggages instead of one ?

 

Never mind. The total weight of all bags is important.

 

Boarding passes all sorted. The 24 hour trip from Sochi to Moscow ought to be interesting...
