Look at what Bayern paid for Renato Sanches! He gets loaned out to Swansea and can't even break into the starting lineup. de Ligt will make it but physically he is not ready for the EPL. I'm not sure Kluivert makes it at the highest level

Kluivert and deLigt maybe should play in French L. for a year or two before reaching for the absolute top leagues

Only PSG could pay what Ajax would ask and they need to sell players because of the financial fair play rule

  4. Swap players?
Edit: BVB needs enforcement/upgrade in quality in the defense, otherwise they're going down in flames in the CL.
Would be nice if they aquired both de Ligt and, as rumoured by Bild, Hatenboer.

Dortmund has a lot of money from the Dembele transfer to Barcelona but they are financially conservative.

  6. Funny, the clubs are driving up his price, while he's not for sale.

If someone does offer 60m he will go.

  8. He's key for the title combat next season, that I expect to become very intense. He will be worth at least the same amount after the next season's title run, so why sell now. The only reason I can think of is that he doesnot want another season under ten Hag and he pushes for a transfer. I expect him to be sensible and do another season with Ajax and combine it with getting extra pressure in the Orange team. He will be much more up the task after that abroad than now and I really think he's smart enough to realize it.

I agree with you but I have read that done of the players don't like ten Hag. Perhaps that is part of it. de Ligt had been advised by Barry Hulshoff who is reasonable but Raiola wants to be his agent. If he stays he will captain Ajax. I don't know how close he is to Kluivert..

Ajax have signed Boca Juniors defender Lisandro Magellan. he can play on both sides in the center. don't know if the club views him as a direct replacement for de Ligt

His purchase was considered for a long time. With the serious injury of Veltman, Ajax had only two central defenders: De Ligt and Wober.

I really dont get how the players are being scouted at Ajax. I mean if Philippe sandler is deemed as a talent in making by Man city then what the hell was overmars doing. Then comes wober who aint no better than Viergever in my books . On top of this Viergever is allowed to to leave free and then they go to South America looking for another CB.

  15. Tbh I donot think Sandler is that good that ManCity was after him. They only noticed him as a good investment after vdSchip informed his former colleague who's now at ManCity that Sandler is an interesting player.

Will be in Amsterdam in July and hoping to see Ajax in pre season. When do they normally confirm pre season fixtures?

They usually train on the Alps. I have not seen any friendlies announced. Ajax are in the second qualifying round for the Champions League and the fores leg will be the last week on July. I don't think they have done the drawing but z Ajax will be served for the tie.

Big and slow is my take from the Jong Ajax matches I've watched. I don't see him staying at Ajax given the talent coming up.

EDIT: 15 year old Naci Unavar is already better than de Witt
