That team was strong but had huge wages and was getting/already old. They had to change almost all of their starters and didn't do the job well at all

Berlusconi was also losing it at that point. They were also pointing to Pato who was supposed to be their new savior and when he was dating Berlusca's daughter and he was their future.....then it all blew up with their breakup and his injury I believe it was ......

Already a more impressive c.v. than Ventura has, and Toro hired him. Give him a chance.

    Mancini appointed Italy head coach
    :)
Former Manchester City and Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has been given the job of reviving the fortunes of Italy's national team.

Italy have been without a permanent coach since Gian Piero Ventura was sacked after the four-time world champions failed to qualify for this summer's World Cup for the first time in 60 years after losing a playoff to Sweden last November.

The 53-year-old's task will be to rebuild the national side and to qualify for the 2020 European championship.

As long as Italy has twice the talent of anyone else in whatever tourney they're in, they're golden.

    You better believe it!

    Look who is back!

Genoa fired Davide Ballardini and re-hired Ivan Jurić….

Chievo canned Lorenzo D'Anna and hired Gian Piero Ventura!
