I was wondering who was going to step up after yesterday's defeat, only to remember that we didn't actually lose. I don't really feel like putting effort into this, but it's Wenger's last game as Arsenal manager at Old Trafford. The place where Wenger struck this crazy messianic pose. As much as it will pain some to admit it, for Arsenal fans, Wenger did have a messianic impact. He did take us to the promised land, not once, but three times. In three seasons, we won the league at Old Trafford and White Hart Lane. The highs don't get much higher than that. Let's send Wenger out a winner, on Jose's home patch. Date: Sunday, April 27 Time: 1630 GMT/1130 ET/1030 CT/you need to wake up for this Llama TV: NBCSN Since ArsenalTexan no longer appears to be around, KILL!
He also is finishing out of the the CL not once but twice (and probably three if he was allowed to keep his contract). In two seasons we got thrashed twice in short order (liverpool 5-1 and Chelsea 6-0 plus Bayern 5-1 twice). The lows don't get much lower than that, and it pains some to admit it.
8:30 am PDT here on the left coast of America, I'll be donning my (yikes! do we have to) away blue kit for this while watching it on TV on NBCSN Sunday morning, COYF'n'G!!! Let's send our fearless leader a going away win at Jose's place!!! BTW, you already know of our famous title win at Shite Hart Lane (in 2003-04), here is how we won the Double at Old Toilet back during the 2001-02 season......and guess who won it for Arsene and the boys!!!
BTW, in case you didn't know already, here is the kit we will be donning (and I will be as well, see picture) for our match away to United, COYF'n'G!!!
Squad that were on the train to Manchester today: - Cech - Ospina - Bellerin - Monreal - Kolasinac - Osei-Tutu - Mavropanos - Holding - Chambers - Willock - Xhaka - M Niles - Mkhitaryan - Iwobi - R Nelson - Welbeck - Nketiah - Aubameyang
That thought did cross my mind the other day, and I thought of PM'g you, but my lack of interest/expectation for this match are pretty damn low. Sad, since as you point out it's the last face-off with a few nemeses: Maureen, Tramshed crowd, etc .
Hope this doesn’t end up 8-2. I know we want to rest players for Thursday, but a smashing here doesn’t help our state of mind going to Atletico.
Just saw that. Have a feeling we get rolled but still excited to see what this Mislintat find can offer.
It's a rare day that I completely don't recognize a player in the 18, but today is one of those days.
In a game where he should be one of our stronger players, Xhaka is showing himself to be a weak link.
Agreed. But he still left 3-4 players in who could/should feature in Madrid. And when Mkhi was down clutching his ankle I started to think maybe he should've even left them out too.
We're not seeing a lot of the ball today but when we do I really like the way we're moving it quickly and directly.
