Bleacher Report Live (B/R Live) have added the Scottish Premier League to their schedule (credit to World Soccer Talk who broke the story). B/R Live is the newly created streaming service that will have rights to the Champions League and Europa League starting next season. The service is currently free (until June) and can be found at https://live.bleacherreport.com/

Friday's Aberdeen vs Hearts match will be shown live on the service at 2:45pm. On Saturday, it's Hamilton vs Ross County (7:30am) and on Sunday, the Old Firm Derby at 7:00am. According to WST, it's a multi-year deal so looks like this is the new home of the SPFL.

The site lists the Polish Cup Final on Wednesday, May 2nd as live as well.

What is interesting, the Finnish League as well as both Portuguese Cup competitions are being highlighted although no matches scheduled as of today - but I'm keeping an eye out.

Have to say, it's good to see other soccer properties being picked up by B/R Live and not have it as strictly a CL and Europa League service.

Is that site still a spoiler haven? I went there went it started up a few weeks back and I was blasted with scores from all over the place.

Yeah, let's just say that if you didn't watch today's Europa League matches, the site would definitely spoil your day. Even going to the soccer page where they offer some of last week's SPFL and Polish Cup on-demand videos, the results are right there under the "Free Replay" button. When you think about it, that really is stupid!!

Hopefully they will discontinue this practice when enough people complain. I know, for example, fanatiz who offer Copa Libertadores, SudAmericana, Argentinian & Chilean football on their streaming site, use to have spoilers like this right where you log in or click for a replay. A single email to them (and I'm sure from other subscribers) took care of the problem in a 48-hour period. It's one of the reasons I am a sponsor of the service on my website - they get it and they respond. Let's hope B/R responds as well.

Yes, I reached out to B/R as well, emphasizing the importantance of a Hide Score toggle to be implemented somewhere within the app.

Great to see more leagues/cups picked up. Unfortunately both the site and the app are a nightmare to navigate.

Finland is 38th in the UEFA country coefficients. I don't think many people will pay for the Finnish League, which is the Veikkausliiga. Mariehamn were the 2016 champions (the season is within one year), but are in last through 4 games now.

When did Fox lose the Scottish rights?

Obviously they won’t charge separately for it, but it’s added value for a subscription football package on the app.

Plus, I love being able to have access to these types of leagues, away from the hype and big money. It’s a good change of pace once in a while, and these clubs like Mariehamn have some great stories.

I’m a huge fan of these types of leagues.

I actually follow the Estonian league for that reason. There is something cool about a mom walking her baby in a stroller near the corner flag while a corner kick is taken in the Estonian derby.

I actually saw the above occurring by the way.

I’m probably the only person on earth that follows the champions league and Europa league first to third round qualifying stages more than the competition proper.

If you love obscure leagues, check out mycujoo.tv. They don't get much more obscure than that!!

    Thanks so much!

I get instant alerts for most of these leagues, now I can watch them.

I got a huge smile on my face.

The danish lower divisions, the ofc champions league, Bangladesh, etc. This is heaven!

I remember watching highlights of the 2014 final day of the season when Stjarnan won the league undefeated.

It was so exciting that even the guardian football weekly podcast mentioned it.

    Oh, sorry for the spoiler.

I like seeing how clubs who aren't from the best leagues do against each other.
