fk missed the first half writing a paper but it seems as though we've been okay so far. is park joo ho playing on the right or left side of midfield three?
On the right side. But it has become a 4-4-2 now with KCH going to the left wing and LJS to the right.
wow, PJH was like a breath of fresh air. fur sure some rusty touches but he played smart positionally and some great link-up play. but to be fair, Ki makes him look really good too.
Agreed. I was actually kind of glad that we conceded that set piece goal for this reason Our fullbacks and central/defensive midfielder will have their work cut out in the WC in terms of tracking back to defend counters against Sweden and Mexico. JWY will be a disaster in that regard. Happy to see PJH looking surprisingly good
Guys, what about Tottenham's 4-2-3-1 works for effective SHM on the left flank, whilst KNT can't pull off a 4-2-3-1 without retarding SHM's usefulness? Many of you pointed out that in KNT's 4-2-3-1, SHM can't utilize his attacking prowess due to the constraints put onto him of the LAM/LM's defensive duties. What about Poch's tactics alleviate that? Is it just the difference in quality of players (i.e. obviously Tottenham have class players all over the pitch, something KNT can't say now)? Eric Dier/Wanyama can cover for Son on the left?
odd since he's left footed little kid with a sign that says: "son can I have your'e shirt" your'e... LOL
I hope we sort out on how to defend set pieces properly other wise we are screwed. Much better than the shit show that was the steilke era.
It's because he doesn't have a partner like LKH or HHC who takes on 1-2 defenders. KSW is better used as a joker when aerial power is needed
